Did I miss something?

First, I am a newbie, a female, and a self-imposed recluse, so I have no idea how much clout my words or thoughts hold here. Still, after reviewing several threads and reflecting on certain opinions conveyed, the amicable tone of the forum I remember has been infected.

On the chance this may come out hippyish, I suggest we agree from this point forward to post positivly (gentle jesting and cracks on Mac excluded, of course). Negative posting just lowers the levity and tone of the forum and generally presents the poster in unflattering light.

If there is a complaint, a legitimate complaint with someone's attitude, ride, or business ethics, then please, by all means, keep it private. Contact the person directly, allow him/her the chance to defend him/herself, and try to solve it one on one, PRIVATELY. If the complaint can be proven with substantial evidence and members of this forum would benefit from the post, then and only then, please inform us.

Also, when and why would "sides" be introduced? We are all riders. We all love to ride. So why are we drawing lines in the sand to distinguish us from one another? It is just another form of discrimination. I ride to escape that madness. Personally, I could care less what group you ride with, the vendor of your bike/gear/etc, your skill level, your gender, your age, your cosmetic appeal, or your side of the bed preference. If you want to ride, I will be right there beside you...... with bells on.

With that said, I will step off my soap box. Thanks for letting me rant.

And you ride a lowered bike. :eew: So your opinion doesn't count here. Let us have our fun. j/k

How long have you been snooping around here? Haven't seen you post yet till today that I remember. And was I at work when you bought your bike. You didn't even come up stairs and say Hi. It gets lonely upstairs.

If it wasn't for the lowering, I'd be wearing some Spice Girl shoes to reach the ground. ummm HELLO, I'm a slant eye. Not all of us can be born tall, lanky, and round-eyed like yourself.

I wanted to say hi. While I was upstairs, you had a customer. I even lingered around the Icon jackets for a bit to see if you would become free. By that point, Mike and Kenny were ready for me to sign paper work. Then I was overcome by the lust of that new bike smell and all else melted away.

I pop in ocassionally to ensure you boys are behaving yourselves. I guess I need to step it up a notch.

The "other side" would be a different local website that primarily involves stunters. There might be one or two who could tell you who Daniel Pedrosa is, but it's doubtful. I think it's very hard, these days, to mingle stunters and your old school corner chasers. It's two different types of riding, and what's really sad.....we are becoming the smaller group, at least here in Charleston.

well ok as far as the other side. there are different types of bikers and personalitys. however we all like to ride so in order to have good events there has to be a combination. you guys and my guys. if you dont believe me i can post pics.... but remebering that the differences in people and there desisions is what seperates us from clones. But if your fishing for sight of goodness just roll out on one of my rides. people who dont get along ,get along. people who talk trash {sometimes} knock it off. but all in all its a fun time. however I understand why some of yall are over here and understand it. it's when we get together it makes sence. but if you dont do wheelies on I26 or endo's down town or roll corners or do high speeds remeber were all different but back up and look at the big picture. scriders.com and dkf2.com are doing more in charleston than anyone else has in along time.
