Hi Guys.... There is more after the first graph.
Here is the info you have been waiting on. We have our 2007 GSX-R1000's and we have put them on our Dynojet 250i Dyno. It is a brand new bike with 4 heat cycles and 30 miles worth of dyno time. The bikes are strapped down the same way and have 30psi in the stock tire.
The bike has VP 114 fuel. We use VP 114 because we know it is fresh and has no contaminates and it is extremely stable. 114 WILL NOT raise the hp. In fact it would make more (only very slightly) with pump gas.
Also, these are production bikes picked up at Ron Ayers Motorsports in Greenville, NC. They are not pre-production race team specials...
Here is what you are looking at:
Blue: Stock
Red: w/ LeoVince Slip-Ons
Green: w/ LeoVince Corsa Full System
Purple: LeoVince Corsa Full System w/ VP MR9 (87 octane)
Pink: 2006 GSX-R1000 Stock

Now.....about the switch.
Mode A is full power: Blue Line
Mode B part throttle is not shown because it appears to only change the power at part throttle. Basically it softens the "hit" but doesn't peak any different than Mode A. This would be difficult to illustrate on a dyno graph.
Mode C: Red Line
Note: You can change between maps instantaneously

That is a base run of 174.7. 185.7 with just slip-on and 114 fuel. This thing has more power than the Busa and the ZX14. This is not a bike for a novice.

I hate those damn Suzuki's! Just when the competition starts to catch up, they do stuff like this. It's just sick.

Yeah, too bad they only can get 164hp out of their MotoGP bike!
Steve, for the record, does the top line represent just the full Scorpio, MR9, and some tuning computer (what is it, by the way?)? No other mods (airbox, plugs, internals, etc)?

You had to go there didn't you. Well... well... at least there bike finished a race this year without the racer physically beating it up after a race. What you got to say about that mister honda man? With a new motor this year, it may only blow up half of the races.
With a bike that is so sucessful, how can the moto gp team be so crappy. You can't say it's money. Look at Ducati. I think it's obvious that Mr. Suzuki doesn't care about moto gp.

I agree with most of your comments but to think Suzuki doesn't care about MotoGP is crazy talk. I think it's much harder to put together a fast MotoGP bike than people realize.
Also, with Honda and Ducati running the show in World Superbike, Suzuki only has the US where there's little to none factory support from the other big 4.

The only mods that were done to this bike was a set of Leo Vince slip ons. well and some 114 fuel. That is what got us to 185.7 hp .When we were doing all of this we had not even looked under the fuel tank yet. We just wanted stock info. The power this bike is putting out is very close to the AMA Superstock Bikes that we all see on the T.V. The bike is still together, After Daytona we will start to pull them all apart and do some more research. Then all the fun will come, just home much hp can we suck out of these things. To me the bike is as ugly as a turd coming out of a donkey's ass. but I love the power this thing is putting out.
As for the competition, I just hope they got their stuff together. we got to see a head off an 07 R1 last week. The head looks a lot better than it has. After Daytona we will have a full bike in the shop for a base run to see what it is putting out.

I hope that answered your question Mr.Mike.
Yeah, you did, thanks Steve. Very impressive. Weren't Moto GP bikes a little over 200HP a year or two ago? I don't see any reason why you guys wouldn't be able to top those GP numbers with these latest gixers. Sick...

will a conventional power commander even work on the 07?

I just noticed the torque numbers. This is unreal for a 1000 to have numbers like this.

If it was possible to connect the old pc 3 you wouldn't be able to change maps on the fly is one problem that I would see. Plus I know that the 07 would have a new computer. I would be really surprised if any old stuff would be interchangeable with the new bike.
The PCIII USB does have a map-switching option, but I'm still curious what KWS is using for a tuning computer.

That is true, but I doubt that the pc3 that is used on 04gsxr1k bike will work on the 07 1000. The reason I say that is because on the pc site they haven't even released the pc3 for the 07 1000 yet. I also noticed that on all of the different generation gixxers the pc3's have a different part #. My question now would be could he send his old pc 3 and have it updated by dynojet to work with the 07 1000? I'm sure it's just different firmware.

Pure and simple beauty!
"I pasted this up from the Gixxer.com site"
21 year old bought bike. got checked out by service guys, said he rode dirt bikes. reved bike up several times. let loose of clutch and handful of throttle. made it about 50 feet, right into concrete wall. didnt have helmet strapped, it flew off. guy not hurt... poor bike. frame snapped at welds.. didnt look like weld didnt bond, but you can clearly see where 2 parts put together and impact broke it right in 1/2. 1/2 weld on each side of frame. im sure this is not frame issue. nothing was built to go head on into concrete wall. Is this the first totaled one??? possibly... it was ugly.. pics tomorrow. happend at 6:00 as we were shutting down shop. No insurance. Guy asked what do i do know? i asked if he had insurance. he said no he was going to get it monday. I said well you owe 12k for totaled bike... there suppose to look up parts in morning if fiche is even out yet, tho im sure parts are not available and this guy prolly cant pay cash to fix it. New riders are scarey!!! why do they think they need the newest fastest stuff out? Ill post pics tomorrow sometime.

Damn, what a waste... for the cost of that pile of broken parts he could've gotten a nice, used 600, with spare parts for the track, several track days, and race lessons.
So did the shop he bought it from attempt to educate him one tiny bit? Obviously they didn't check if he had insurance, or enough experiece to even be sitting in the seat. They're lucky as hell that the guy's alright.
As for the weld, the break looks awfully damn clean.

So sad! Tell the guy that I'll buy the bike as is. He probably couldn't have afforded the insurance on Monday anyway. Suzuki needs to get there bad weld problems under hand. This looks like a bad weld to me, but no mgf. will stand behind a crashed bike. He is definitely on his own.
If it were me I would get the frame welded, put the bike back together and take it to GMD to be aligned. He really has no other choices.

If that was you it wouldn't be totalled either. I'm with you on get the thing welded and put it back together. The guy Chris sold that 750 to out here welds frames back together then sells them as track bikes.
Like DK said "Not meant to hit concrete walls".

Bikes are not built to go through walls. You hit a wall with anything and something will break I don't care how good it was put together.
