Just got in from daytona!

Wow best year yet hands down!!!! first time i have EVER been to a bike week that was strait up DOMINATED by sportbikes. I saw some of the craziest stuff. wait till i post pics and vid. I got a car that was built around a zx-9r! turbo this nitro that. gator glass, 240 or 320 rear tires. and oh yea the DAYTONA 200! WITH SO MUCH VID IM GOING TO NEED MIKE TO MOVE IN!!!! The monster kawi's and attack kawi's were strait up killing the comp! I got vid from turn 2-8!!!!!! I saw a zx-10r with a I pod and 2 4in speakers. well all i can really say is pics soon sunburt right now.
All i can really say is i was told daytona was a eyeglass into the future of the industry... well get ready Show bikes are in your near future! And if you had a pipe in daytona you were a odd ball. strait pipe out the bottom! no canisters anywhere!!!!!

For me, Daytona started to suck when the 600s starting running the 200.

Oh round eye no use this fuel system again.......

Oh why not bore small hole through top of gas tank and ventilate gas through tank with a one way breather so fuel does not spill out during pit stop/quick fills......

Your guest poster is a first timer here in bike week. I know he or she is still excited about seeing the masses of sportsbikes but its the same thing just different people and a bit more custome bikes. Same vendors tent set up and the same main street. There were less bikers there this year than last. I got to go down main street in about 20 minutes. Last year it took me over 30 minutes. For the first timers it seem like a lot and it is but not like it used to be. You would see women in thongs and the beaches were always open to traffic. The only thing that changed was that they now charge you for parking in the infield now on top of the cost to get into the races. The races were good to me. Any race is good. I laughed at the pace/saftey car driver for the 200. Some old guy killing that Honda Accord in the turns.
