Who are you and what do you ride?
The names Mark and I ride a 2004 RC51, it's got a couple of little mods done to it :wtg: and it's a blast to ride.
We should get a Twins ride goin some time, that would be fun,, The cars will think there's an earthquake when we come ridin by. :smilebig:
I learned to ride on a twin... the Ninja 500R.
The best exhaust I even heard, on anything, bar none, was an RC-51 with an aftermarket system.
Does my loud-assed single count? It's kinda similar :smilebig:

I really miss my RC51. 2000 model with VIN #42. Thing sounded mean as hell with the full Yosh!

It might've been one of your old ones, or maybe Mac's old one, I'm not sure.
You know, the odd thing is, I really wanted to like riding it, but coming off my 954, it just didn't feel right to me

What was weird about it? The power delivery?
The bike's handling felt heavy and sluggish, and the ergonomics just weren't there. To be fair, the 954 was the best fitting bike I've ever ridden.

How much do you weigh? You may feel differently if you ride my RC... :evillaugh:
About 182; maybe part of my disappointment came from Kenny and Mac praising the bike so much, that I expected more of the thing. Oh well...
Barry has a Warrior, which is one twin I'd like to have. Another nice twin is a supermoto that recently came out. (don't know who makes it) Several Ducs, and the new Super Duke also fit in that category.
I need a garage... :crap:
Barry knows how I feel. Love the sound of the twins growling in the morning as a wake up call at the Gap. Fire up the TL's and the RC's and let'em roar!! Maybe I'll mod my moped into a V?? Hmmm?? :chin:

My RC is sprung for 230lbs so you may feel it's a little harsh.....

so pony up and buy one
Ok, here's a question:
2003 yellow 999 1700 miles. Monoposto with full ti Termi exhaust and 2 years left on extended warranty
or
2005 999 650 miles red biposto stock no warranty.
Both are the same price.

Well Dave, You already know my opinion based on actual value of the bike...the 2005 is a better deal. i would not let the warranty be a selling point, as most will attest, most modern sport bikes aren't really in need of warranty, and what does go bad, can usually be fixed cheap yourself.

I also just found out that the 2005 had an almost 20hp upgrade over the previous model.

Fuck that! I doubt the exhaust will give the 20HP back. Get the 2005.

Pick the 2005 Duc up tomorrow!
