on mine I just remove the tail faring and loosen the two hex molts that hold the seat to the frame.

I guess the better question is where do you store your registration and insurance. I was figuring that it had some under seat storage area......is there any storage spot?

Sorry man Can't say that their is. the F3 has a small space for storage under the rear seat but you have to remove the body work and un bolt the rear seat just to gain acces to it, this is not practical in my oppnion. I can see you now on I-26 with your toolbox out ripping the rear of the bike apart and the cop standing their laughing. That would suck

I do see But I have no answers. If I were You I would find some place in your riding jacket or a water proof container mounted somewher wher you could gain acces to when you need that stuff. I didn't carry paper work with me cause mine didn't need none Bo. I am a weird dood I have a computer and a new gold fish that my girlfriend bought me. She bought 2 fish and we named them Skillet and Fish stick . Skillet died today at 6:44pm I have been in morning.

Yea that's what I was thinking mike. Just something to keep it from getting messed up when it rains or you sweat. And If you alwayse wear a jacket when you ride you will alwayse have it with you.

I was looking at the shield, I think I will make some kind of pocket and put it there.....hard to see it even when I'm on it.
