Well since Randy took the king of the street title in Charleston back on August 14th there has been a lot of mumbling going on. Everyone was crying, "how could Suzuki not be king of the street". This was new territory for all of us. Suzuki has been King of the street here in Charleston for a lot of years. From what I hear Randy beat the snot out of Richie and took the crown from Suzuki and Richie. Richie, being the great guy that he is conceded and admitted defeat with no excuses. Well today there were 2 angry suzuki boys that wanted some of that awesome zx10. Alan, was first up to challenge the mighty 10 with his little 750. Before they ran, I thought I heard someone say, " Boi don't you know better than to bring a knife to a gun fight". Then it was on. After the race, all that any of us could say was DAMN! That little 750 really surprised everyone. He not only beat Randy's 10 but the race wasn't even close. Alan's little 750 blew the doors off that zx10. But here's the kicker. Alan was almost two bikes in front of him and steady pulling ahead. I was really shocked. I knew the 750's were fast but not that fast, WOW. Well, after Randy's defeat he was a standup guy. Just like Richie, he offered no excuses and handed his crown over to Alan.

Now Alan fresh off his victory wheelie doesn't even get to take his helmet off. Jason who has a 05 gixxer 1000 tells Alan not to get off, Just bring it on down the street. Well they did one run, then another, and then a final 3rd run. The little gixxer 750 was no match for Jason's beast of a bike. Jason beat him down every single run with ease. All I can say is that I don't know what you've heard but there's a new king in town, and he goes by the name of KING JASON!

So, it's settled for now. Suzuki is the King of the Street in Charleston again. In fact suzuki has 2 bikes that rule in Chucktown. The 750 and the 1000. Nash, some people were looking high and low for some Honda meat today. They say that it's a good thing that you were hiding out today. :punk:

140 lbs rider? I'm not stupid, not many people can make up that weight disadvantage. Hell, I'm a light weight but I've still got 30bls on this guy. Let's put your ass on the gsxr1000 and see where it goes. He can have that title.

And as for Alan, I love how he continues to spend money trying to beat me. He's tried every trick in the book and nothing has worked. What makes you think this time would be any different just because he put on an exhaust, PC3, air filters and what ever else he's got on that bike?

i'll let jason keep this title. :wtg:

I can't believe what I'm hearing. Nash, it sound to me that your already making excuses of why you're going to lose? " This guy is to skinny, that guy is too fat, and that guy is too pretty, and Barry is too well hung". I cannot say that I've heard someone whine so much before they even lost. Hell Dave you know the rules, no excuses, period! Ride what you bring. This is not the AMA extended series racing. This is simply backyard bragging rights. Your bike either has it or it doesn't. If weight is an issue don't eat all week and get a colonic before you come out. As the proverbial saying goes Nash, it time to put up or shutup! I'm in the 215 lb range and so is Chris, Steve, Mike, and plenty other guy's. You've never heard our fat asses use weigh as an excuse. Hell, if that's the case Richie did say that he had 2 of the large Taco Bell Burito's before he lost. Now we know why he lost, huh! Come on Nash, you were talking some big honda crap the last time I saw you, now it time to Man up! No Excuses Period! :hand:

You all are right I dont weigh put 140lbs. and I've read that you give up ONE hp for every 7lbs if that zx10 guy weighs 180lbs thats only 5hp diffrence. His bike has a pipe on it, thats worth at least 5hp. and dosent the zx10 have 5 more horse power than a stock gixxer 1000. I GUESS ROAD RACERS CAN DRAGRACE AFTER ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :muffy:

Randy, I think you've got the wrong idea.....even though we joke around and talk smack with one another, we REALLY don't care who has the fastest straight line bike. But that doesn't mean I won't bust you and Jason's ass!

Don't forget about me. I've run a 1:20 with my little 68.5 hp SV. Hey Matt, next year can I be your understudy? I want to be fast some day to!

Jason, don't forget this track day coming up on the 15th is not a push it to the limits so we can prepare for the next race practice. This is susposed to be a fun casual track day. You cannot afford to mess around and wreck your bike, because the big race in Daytona is the following week. Kenny, make sure he doesn't forget this. Jason how does it feel to be the King? It seems like there's a lot of hating going on.

No, no Jason, you're right, you'd win that battle at Jennings, BUT you give me a few track days next year at Roebling (it's been a while) and we might have a ball game. It shouldn't be that hard to get in the 18's.

It will be fun for everyone no matter what there're riding. As you know, the main thing will be to have decent tires. Get the sag setup on the gixxer and you should be fine. Remember, this is just a fun day at the track, not race day. Do you know if Lance, Ty, or Jeri are planning to go? I hope that DK can come down. It's like an inspration for me to watch him ride. Talk about smooth. It would also be nice if Kenny the King and Matt could go. Trust me, no one else in Charleston will be able to run with Jason. Dat boi is fas! I am planning to ride with the first timers for a few sessions to answer questions and make sure that they are comfortable. After that it's fun time.

Yeah, Ty and I are planning on doing a few endurance races which should be pretty fun. Besides that, just a few track days here and there.
