Kevin Hunt to this this day still says that the GSRX 1000 2007 does not belong on the street.

Test Parameters:

2007 GSX-R1000 (510 miles)

The bike was base lined on the dyno and then the the old system was removed, and the Leo Vince SBK Single sided full system was installed. We also installed a PCIIIUSB and tuned it with our Dynojet 250i load control dyno. Nothing else was changed. The bike never left the dyno. The bike was run on pump gas from the gas station down the street the entire time. The runs were done within an hour and a half from each other. No filter was installed.

This is the most accurate test I can do to test the efficiency of a pipe and the numbers are very impressive. We gained 15hp at 7000rpm and 11hp on top. Not to bad.

Again....no filter, no race gas, no ignition module, no veolcity stacks. Same dyno, same day, same tire, same fuel, same tie down method.

This is the best bang for the buck performance modification for your GSX-R1000...period.

It's hard to argue with him on that point to. Why in the world would anyone need that kind of hp on the street?

With that being said, if I had good sense I sure would have one myself!
