Bring a generator and plenty of water. Every exit point of every turn is blind. other then that it's a blast and it's beautiful. but it's no VIR.

What Kenny said and bring a big carpet. The pits are all asphalt and they get hot!!!!!!!! Makes it hard to get down and work on the bike if you need to. Bring a petal bike so you can check out the track after hours. There is a lot of cool statues in the trees that you dont see flying down the track. And definatly check out the museum if you have time.

Matt, Kenny do you know any good schools that really teach about racing and not just learning about flags?

Find out when Kenny and Matt are going to a track day and follow them all day! Can't get much better instructors.

But one of the better schools still is done by Ed Bargy.

ed bargy school is the best for the money. if you have the money/time, take the schwantz, chandler or spencer schools.

I agree. I also did the Frank Kinsey school with Crash a few years ago. It was no where near as good.

Ed Bargy teaches you everything that you need to know about the track to race. Practice, guts, and skill is all you need to add to become a better racer after that. The last three people that I saw to take Ed's class were Evan, Mark, and Puerto. Now all three of them are super manic, very skilled fast riders.

Barber is a beautiful track. Take time to go to the motorcycle musem if you can.

We're going out there this weekend. Yes, those are some killer blind turns. I haven't made my way up to that track yet.
