I've never been a big fan of the "big" bikes, but it doesn't look too bad.

Excellent photo. Taken with a Canon 1Ds Mark II, no less :wtg: Probably thousands' worth of lighting equipment, too.

Just when you thought the busa couldn't get any uglier! Big motor + big bike = they will buy it! No matter how ugly it is.
I can't wait to see what the new 750 is going to do.

is honda EVER going to make another Blackbird?
Honda figured out a long time ago that they couldn't play in that game. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think that honda has had a HP class leading bike since maybe the mid nineties? However I can vouch that they do make a good lawn mower engine. But maybe they should leave thinks like high HP motorcycles to Suzuki and Kawasaki. What do you Honda fans think?
Screw you, man! Screw you!
Isn't the CBR6 leading in hp numbers?

lol, dont get me wrong.. i dont want you to think im a Honda fan-boy.... i judge everybike on an individual basis...
i just think the busa is too fugly to own... lol.
i had a blackbird loaned to me for about a week... nice comfy cruiser... i could see me driving it everyday... was a bit of a pig of course, but if it had some nice hard bags on the back, it would be a great go-everywhere trip/commuter...
really, id like some mix of FJR/busa/VFR.... that handled like a small Vtwin bike... lol
(i know im dreaming.. )

They do make the ST1300, which is by all definitions a sport tourer, whereas neither the XX or the Busa are sport tourers.
I looked at an ST but for me it was not enough sport, and too much tourer, so I went with the FJR. Haven't looked back...
...well, except to see how long of a wait I have for any ST's riding behind me :lmao:

i've never been a big fan of the katana 1300's (aka 'busa...), and that ugly ass bike just gave me more of a reason not to like them!!

Thats right! the CBR 600 IS THE NEW CLASS LEADER! I have riden them back to back with the R-6 and the suzuki. the honda is the lightest and the most powerful. Did I mention that we are selling them for 8699.00!
i second that, dave!! (and charles is trying to get me to buy one!!)
Mac, the only problem with the inline bikes is just trying to keep up with the "Jones'". The bikes change every other year and next summer some new punk pulls up on a brand new CBR/GSXR/ZX/YZF and makes your bike look and feel outdated. I love all the technology but the things change too often. I say keep looking for the RC.

so you're saying thoes guys can just stay inline..... while we go play with Twins? :cheer: :jive: :cheer:
lol, really though.. it probably is frustrating that you cant have a set series of parts for several years straight.... that just raises the costs and confuses things over time....
