Pinks on SPEED

Is anyone else watching Pinks on the speed channel? That show is addictive! I've seen them race snow mobiles on the track! You think they will ever do cycles or is it too dangerous for the insurance.

If I recall - they have already done a couple of episodes with bikes. One episode included an older Suzuki vs. VRod and another had a couple of Busa's.

Pinks is the stupidest, dumbest, and lamest motorsport show on TV. Yet I still keep watching.

pinks was bike based when started.... but the producer is a car nut soooo. we get to see cars.... orient express did a show awhile back.

Best episode of Pinks ever was when the host wiped out on a brand new Gixxer (wasn't his) trying to show off in front of the crowd. The only thing hurt, other than the bike of course, was his pride so I laughed long and loud at that one.

even though i hate jeff creeches guts for several reasons.. i had to laugh.

he had a blown fbody on there, vs some turbo honda...

the damn honda had the balls for 12 or 14 car lengths or something like that..

jeff summed it up with "how can you ask for respect for imports when you want half the track?!"

Oh no, we would much rather watch Mister Arms give the official arm drop to start the race. It gives us that whole street racing feel you know. (I being factious as you can tell)

You know what would happen if I were ever there racing? As soon as Mr arms raised his hands I would fu&*$#@ nail it all the way down the track. The show is such BS that you could just argue and you would win round one.

me and rich are emailing back and forth about a new show. i think you guys will like it.

once you see to snowmobiles dragging on tv, I think that's all you have to say but damn I love watching the show. I haven't seen the bikes so it looks like I'll be watching more reruns......

well there is 1 MAJORproblemwith dragracing tv. There is promod bike racing but these bikes are all jacked up. 1/4 miles in 5 seconds but they dont even look like bikes... not to mention they get rebuilt every pass. The racing i do is more intertaining. its REAL bikes. busa's14's zx10's gsxr1k's and here recently we have had a very weird class open up. the 600's. It's weird looking at a stretched dunked 636 in the staging lanes. At first i didnt think it would be popular but man in 1 year it has taken off!
Im currently discussing having rich come to carolina dragway to watch REAL MOTORCYCLE dragracing. bikes you want to see. not pro mods.

I find the pro mods more entertaining really, it's amazing those things stay together. At least you know you are racing against a moded bike. I prefer that over watching two guy racing a zx10 and winning and saying his bike is "stock" :nay: Plus, the pro mods are a better show, better sound. You can actually feel the bikes go down the strip. Maybe we could get him to do a best lap around the track for pinks :chin: That would be even more entertaining. I can see it now, "hello ladies and gentleman welcome to moncks corner south carolina, I'm here with pro drag racer Randy..........." Don't choke Randy. =D>

goto a REAL dragstrip, Ennis, MIR, Topeka, Pomona, Houston...... they dont have thoes dumbasses, because they throw their asses out.

goto some small place where there arnt alot of players.. and you get people "betting" jumping around, yelling about stupid rolls... go into a real pool hall, and theres noone jumping around yelling, and everyone knows the rules. theres still betting of course, but its subtle.

I used to race at Topeka and KCIR when I lived in KC...you get your fair share of dumb asses there too. My favorites were always the honda civic import variety that would show up with their 18 second cars (if they were lucky). It sure looked neat puttering down the track with that neon glow underneath and the giant wing on the back though! Kudos to those that had the balls to actually run on a legitimate track, most import guys would only race from one stop light to the next and then believe they had a 12 second car.
