Late last night I heard on the news of a rider that was going at high speeds without a helmet and ending up getting killed. The name was not Brandon. The name they said I could not spell or saying again to save my life.

the name may have been something else
Did this happen on the hwy 78 overpass to 26? I passed it under it about 12:30 am right after the accident happened. Looked like it may have been a bike.

HELMETS SAVE LIVES
very true in most instances...but a helmet won't make you invincible hitting a tree or guardrail at 100mph. (not sure if thats the case here, but someone mentioned high speeds...)

That's so sad! When are people going to learn. My son is only 4 and he won't even ride his tricycle without a helmet. DK laid down the law at a very early age and AK learned quickly. They make helmets for a reason people!!!!! :twak:

I think there must have been two accidents this past weekend were the riders past. My wife knows a girl at work who told her that the guys girlfriend was following her boyfriend Woodrow (huey) in G.C. by the twin bridges when he somehow hit the guard rail without a helmet. He past at the scene. I couldn't imagine seeing my loved one or friend pass, please wear the helmet when riding.
