Hey everyone give a big congrads to the new King of the street. :hail: Randy put the smack down on Jason and Allen Sunday in front of a sold out crowd. That kawasaki is a monster. Oh and by the way, I don't want to here no stinking crap about, he was using race fuel. If you were at the dyno shoot out on Sat. you knew that he was going to be using it. So everyone had an opportunity to go and buy some too. I tell you this, don't bring no stock piece of crap to race this thing, unless you want to get your bodywork sucked off. Randy I know that you had a good weekend. First on Saturday you win the hp dyno shootout by a landslide, then on Sunday you whipped up on the ex: Kang just as you said you would. How does it feel to have that crown on your head again? There were a bunch of 1000's out there yesterday, but they all were scared of that ZX10 of Randy's. As Randy proclaims. He is the new " Street King with Bling". Congrads Randy on your victory. :wtg:
Thanks Jason was awsome about it. Even when The first run when i about wrecked us both he was still cool. The speeds were awsome. I think there was some gsxr body damage just because of the speeed. I know the windscreen was fugged on that r6. Might have to figure away around screwin our bikes up by speed. I got lucky the ten didnt take any damage {thats a kawi for ya} but I know that had to suck for the other guy's. BTW what is the word on the 600's That got alittle confuseing. Oh yea welcome to pro stock :muffy:

Allen beat everyone on my 636. Poor Keith, he got kicked in the teeth by a lot of folks on Sunday. So the ZX10 is the liter bike King and the 636 is the 600 King. KAWASAKI IS KING IN CHUCKTOWN!
Hey this is bs A track day at jennings and shit tons of pic's hell a vidio party. I saw like 10 camras sunday where did all those pics go?

Well in my best bill goldberg voice
"Your Next"
Randy, I think since all the work you did just to beat Jason you owe him a race in his element, a road course. Jason ran you bone stock knowing how tough it would be to beat a modified "drag bike", but he still did it. I give him credit for that.
Now you want to race Kenny? Why don't you go after an actual drag racer instead of road racers? Are you scared what you might find? Hopefully, by you beating Jason this will end talk of 'drag racing' for a while.
The only drag I want to see is Chris, my favorite drag queen!
what do you think i do every sunday night?
Bracket racing doesn't count.

Well everyone needs to give it up to randy he kicked my butt..........My bike was no match for his in the roll ons.................but if you all remember I waxed his ass from a dead stop to start off the racing.........and he was also beat by a 750..........yes randy is the new king of the street,But there is a new title i'm going after and thats the Kang of the strip! you see even randy will tell you in that last race I had the jump on him he didn't pass me until we were well over an eight of a mile!!!!!!!!!!!!

In Randy's defense, he didn't start this. BTW Jason actually beat Randy when they did a drag race from a dead start. So this proves that Jason is a better drag racer, but King Randy has the strongest bike on the streets of Chucktown. It's kind of pointless for him to call Kenny out, he doesn't even have a street bike.
Since I'm Don King around here "named by Kang Jason". Here's the next race I'm promoting. Randy and Kenny in a 50cc road course race. Randy has said many times that he can rock a 50, so heres his chance. In fact let's have a King of the Mini Champ. Anyone with a mini would be allowed to participate. Would you guy's want to see this?
Randy, if you can win on drag bike night on a stock engine running race gas, then I'm in the wrong sport.

Nope wrong bike :lmao:
Ive only heard about ten different races and me and jason only ran 4 times. So here is what I SAW
1st race dead stop. I launched like i was at the strip. bad idea no vht. My bike went REAL sideways almost ran into jason. he had a huge lead on me. 1 loss
2nd was a roll on. I pulled away quickly. 1 loss 1 win
3rd was saposed to be a stop. however the beverly hillbillys showed up in a dodge ram. Me and jason rolled forward to see if it was trouble. as we saw it was clear 3 beeps and poof we were off. pulled away easily again. 1 loss 2 win's
4th and chis called it as final. I lined up at a stop. I knew i would wrather loose than wreck so I soft launched it. However jason had his a game and shot off like a missel. So as soon as it was safe I poured into it. Jason at this point misshifted 2nd but did get in there. As I started realing him in at a rate that even suprised me, I looked forward to see how much room I had. That is when I knew I had won. I rolled past him and extended the lead in enough time to throw a blinker. 1 loss 3wins.
as far as im concered prostock im the king stock jason is the man 600 series barrys bike

When it comes to pulling hp out of the liter bikes with building the motors, NOTHING BEATS THE GSXR 1000. That bike is the shit!!. Even if you build up the zx10 you still would not win.
I've seen so many dyno runs where the ZX10 isn't putting out expected HP numbers, and I've seen the same for the GSXR 1000. Someone's ZX10 is putting out more than so and so's GSXR blah blah blah. I think it really comes down to what you like. I've allways had good luck with Gixxer's and Kawa's, but I thing the Gixxer grand would suit me better. Don't forget Rider has a LOT to do with how fast you go too.
burns
10-28-2005, 11:28 AM
It all does come down to what each person wants to ride. When it comes down to HP and MOTOR BUILDS the gsxr beats all. Shane on this board will know what I am saying from him working here at KWS. The KAW is a good street bike but when it come down to pulling big hp out of it good luck! Lets say you bring in a zx10 and a gsxr 1000. You have 40 grand to spend and put 20 grand on each bike to built bad ass drag bikes. You do all the work you can do to each bike to grab all that hidden hp. when the bike are done the Suz. is going to out do the kaw by a long shot in hp. You can only go so far with the zx10. once you have reached that spot you can not go any more, no matter what. With the Suz you can go really far to get hp and keep going. I have nothing against kaw they are good street bikes.(The only thing important to me is that you ride.) They don't make good drag bike. ( well then how is Randy beating everyone? ) well like you said... the rider. But then none of those folk doing the King of the Charleston thing has built motors to my knowledge.
If you don't believe any of what I say that it no problem. You can always come by KWS to chat with Kevin and he will be more that happy to talk with you about it.

Well this isnt the first time i've heard this. and I can say nothing please's me more whn kevin is expecting little gains from the ten only to have his eyebrows raised. I love the shocked look on his face. I personaly think even kevin is impressed with what we have done. However the gsxr has ALOT more parts avalible because everyone and there grandma is building one. This is why I really like the kawi. I get a kick out of being different. Sazuk makes a awsome bike but these 2 companies going back and forth is what got us to where we are today. I hope niether wins. That way when i go get my new bike in a couple of years it will even be better.
The only thing you've done different than most of us is run race gas. Without race gas you only had 2hp more gain than my Honda and my torque curve was much better.
And when it comes to MotoGP, the only thing Suzuki and Kawisaki swap, would be who's going to come in last.
Your right NASH. The race gas has to be around 10 hp. I would say having run that Honda many many times it was definately harder to deal with than that ZX10. What gives me the right to say this you might ask? Ask Randy...... He's seen the back of my bike a lot (a 750 at that.) .......to bad we couldn't see Randy and Nash go at it without Race Gas........
or you could buy race gas
I've thought of that a few times. Can't stand the smell.....
or you could buy race gas
How did I know that was coming? There's a reason I don't run race gas in my street bike.

The race gas has to be around 10 hp
Boy I wish race gas was good for 10 hp. I'm positive that's not the case. There was a race gas test in one of the motorcycle mags last year. I think that the best race fuels were giving about a 4 or 5 hp gain. I think that most people would say that you could expect anywhere from a 3 to 5 hp gain from race fuel. Now when I say race fuel I'm not talking about this high 110 to 115 octane stuff that you can buy at some area stores. Unless you have had motor work and increased your compression, this is usually a waste and can cause power decreases. Most drag races wont tell you what they did or all of what they did, but whatever Randy had done to his bike it really made a difference. Race fuel wasn't responsible for all of the way his bike is running now. Again, who knows exactly what Randy has done to it.

We're all americans here so we mainly care about what happens in the good ole USA. I wish Suzuki could lose an AMA superbike title just one year, don't you Nash? NOT!!! :flux: Suzuki and Kawasaki don't care about Moto GP. They know they make the best sportbikes in the world for the street and the local club racers. They do allow exceptions for the Yamaha's to participate. If you see a honda on top of the podium in the US you know the guy is one hell of a rider. Matt and Kenny are prime examples. I would hate to see these guy's on a Suzuki 1000. Honda hasn't had a top street bike out since the early CBR 900 days. Can anyone disagree with that?

Thats a well made point.....Look at me I spanked a big bad drag racer on a stock Gixxer 1000.... it must have been the BIKE.
Barry, where are you getting this entire BS?? Sure Honda has struggled the past few seasons, but Honda has dominated motorcycle racing here in the US and all over the world throughout the history of motorcycle racing. Hmmm, where to start first...in World Superbike HRC doesn't give full factory support, but they still almost won...In British Superbike HRC does support and had it in the bag but the idiot riders blew it in the second half of the season! In the AMA HRC doesn't give factory support due to American Honda wanted to do all R&D, it's still a work in progress. Also, American Honda doesn't have the riders to challenge Mladin, and hopefully that will change. The one year that American Honda had HRC support and a good rider, Honda dominated. Don't you remember that year, Barry? How many times did the GSXR beat the RC45?
The CBR is a great street and race bike. The only reason it isn't club raced much is because everyone "thinks" the only bike to have is the GSXR, thanks to our human nature which tends to line up like sheep. Also, tell Matt's competition the CBR isn't fast. Suzuki and Kawasaki are cheap, that's why they break. I've owned many Suzuki bikes over the years and I speak from experience and don't even get me started about the Kaws. Both the Yamaha and Honda tend to have their shit together when it comes to reliability.
You can talk smack about US racing being fought here at home all you want, but the top of the food chain is MotoGP...end of story. The world’s best riders and bikes reside there. Most of the new technology that trickles down to the street comes from MotoGP, NOT AMA superbike or club racing.
Boy I wish race gas was good for 10 hp. I'm positive that's not the case.
That's what Kevin said, not Randy. I found it hard to believe, also.
Kawi's break? Ive owned three and I ran the dogshit out of all of them and never had a problem... I think thats a fare test.
I guess the ZX10's frame cracking doesn't count for much.

I knew that I would get you fired up Dave when talking bad about the big old heavy Honda's. I agree with you the CBR is a good bike, but here are the hard facts. Pick any CBR weather it be the 600 or the 1000. In any performance shootout test it will always be #3 or 4 on the list. Now on the street we all know that Suzuki and Kawasaki rules when it comes to the 600 class and the 1000 class. So where does that leave honda, again #3 or 4. I think that it would be pretty hard for anyone to argue that the ZX6 and the R6 aren't the best 2 600's on the street or track in the US. I also think that it would be pretty hard for anyone to argue that the Suzuki 1000 has been the KANG of the street since it was first built in 2001. In fact it has been KANG of the tracks in the US since 2001. Now everyone knows that in the liter bike class the GSXR 1000 and the ZX10 owns the street. So again that leaves the honda in the #3 or 4 slot again.
This is why Moto GP racing is not so important to us Americans. Can you go out and buy one of those $500,000 bikes at your local dealer? Absolutly not, but can I go and buy what Mat, Ben, and Arron are riding? This is why AMA is more important to people in the US. Yes the best riders are in the Moto GP, but this is obvioulsy not helping honda on the street or the tracks of America. I have owned 3 suzuki's and 2 kawasaki's over the past 7 years, and ever last one of them were great bikes. I recant what I said about moto gp not helping honda. That's not true. Honda has finally made a liter bike that could beat the GSXR 750. But wait, suzuki is releasing a new gsxr 750. I know the honda folks are keeping there fingers crossed. BTW Matt can compete even if he were riding an F2, cause da boy has got some skills.

Also I was a big Kawaski guy until the new ZX6R's came out in 03. The transmissions were horrible. Almost every guy I know that raced one had major trany problems. One friend had his replaced after the first weekend and had replaced two or three more times until he gave up. They told me not to even bother unless you were going to have the transmission sent out and undercut a shimmed =$$$$$$
Even a guy that worked for the factory Kawi team told us his son raced one and it to had horrific trans problems. But I still would like one of the new 6's for some reason. Kawi was the first bike I owned.
Barry, a MotoGP win will sell bikes much more than an AMA race in any country, trust me. Why in the hell would Honda dump so much money in MotoGP and then not be able to sell bikes? The AMA Superbikes may look like the bike you can buy at your local dealership but you know as well as I do, it's not even close to the same bike. AMA FX and Supersport bikes are bit closer but who really watches those races? Not that it isn't good racing, it's just not all that. By the way, who won the FX championship this year? Anyway, the main event is always the big boys.
The only thing that worries me about Honda is them letting good young talent get away. In the past, Honda did a great job keeping these riders but lately they have slipped away. I was highly pissed when Honda let Chris V. get away. That kid can fly!
I guess the ZX10's frame cracking doesn't count for much.

Oh thanks, I forgot about the wheel problem along with the frame. The big four are in an all out war trying to out do each other on the lightest bike. How far do they go before the compromise the integrity of safety? Kaw and Suz might be the lightest, but you crash one and it's D-U-N, dun! (That’s for you, Randy)

You make some good points Dave, I'll give you that. I say we use a neutral expert to say which bike is the best. Ahhh I say we ask Kevin Hunt. Ask him Steve and see what he says.
well here is something i did. When it was time to move on from the 7 I was thinking about jumping ship.
So I looked into the R-1 Very good looking bike. IMO BEST on the eye's however lacked in hp but the weight was ok...
Honda CBR1000 The repsol looked good but to be honest I just couldnt see past that plywood seat or the 27lbs it was over weight.
GSXR1000 Nice bike but seemed a bit overated the mags had built me up to expect my socks to fly off at the twist of the throtle and they didnt. The bike was powerful and cornered good. However I wasnt floored by the hp or how skinny it was. felt like it was made for a real small man. Im 6'3''
The RC51 Not the prettiest thing on pavement but fun! The power ban is awsome. whellies at 15mph and ooooh that sound! But left me with the seat again to damn hard. Also felt like a Duck rip off.... but hey it's not $20,000 either...
The all mighty busa!!!! Well The in line power was there and was what i expected. It was built with some comfort in mind and then i had to turn around WOW like stering a sherman tank and remember I owne a zx7r at the time!
Well there isnt a ten in town i can ride.... hmmm busa or R-1 is what it came down to. The all mighty battle go fast or look good......... Ahh the all mighty autotrader!
well here before me is the 04 05 master bike off the year. zx10r... So I call the guy in ATL. So we negotiate a price and agree. I say i want to ride it and see how she is. Well a trip to Atl and a night in a jaquzie and i get to ride. Wow power out the wazoo!!! looked great! handleing umm needs some work. not horible but needs some time with DK for sure! Well with that I cut a check! One thing I leared All bikes have there faults but in my mind I bought the one with the least.
Personal opinion is all that matters. My choice was between the CBR and R1, and since I'm huge MotoGP fan, the REPSOL made it an easy choice. As far as the weight is concerned on the CBR, I dropped over 35lbs. The Honda is the only bike not to have a titanium exhaust stock. Once I put on my full Ti exhaust and took off the extra garbage, it was close to the ZX10 and GSXR1000.
Before buying the CBR I wasn't going in as Honda bias, but I did want the best bike for me. The popular mags (aka sportrider, cycleworld) always seems to like the new bikes and didn't care too much for the Honda's tame powerband. While the Honda seems tame, it's really not; it's just very smooth throughout the powerband. It's incredible how much better it is once modded. Matter of fact, it takes better to modding than any other liter bike out there.
Motorcylce.com, which has been a favorite of mine for years, picked the CBR second this year (first last year) only to the GSXR and it was very close. If you like an honest read try Motorcycle.com.
Anyone who has followed Suzuki throughout the years knows how they like to send "ringer" bikes to mags to build the hype. Ask Kevin about his first GSXR1000 he dyno'd and now check the GSXR1000s he has dyno'd lately. I've seen 10 to 12hp difference.
The CBR suspension is a bit soft but I'm working on the settings now and we'll see if that helps. If not, I'll just upgrade the front and rear.
Don't get me wrong, I really like all the liter bikes. Scott's R1 is sweet as hell and Ty's Ti ZX10 it pretty nasty looking also, but if I had to chose one...of course it would be the Honda. To ME it's the best all around liter bike.
That is why you should buy a bike WHAT FITS YOU! I totaly agree. I am curious what kenny thinks. I bet he see's 100's of never sat on a different bike guys come in there and buy the first thing they sit on.
After reading brandons thread It brings me to another point. DONT BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ!!!!!!! Were like freakin sheep to the slaughter! When i did car sterio awhile back I learned that if you follow "The best" you will also see who spent money with that mag that month. I can produce 3 mags SAME BRAND where they call the zx10r the master bike for 04 then 2 months later say... hold on let me get it.... "THE NEW BOSS!!!!"GSXR1000" Then 3 months later calls the zx10r Masterbike of the year AGAIN!?!?!? Also If you noticed when sazuk was sponcering speedvision oh yea sazuk could have been in 13th place the camras where on them. However when Honda picked up speed vision the only sazuks you saw were in the lead. thay forgot allll about the sazukes in the back... Think about it.

VERY slowly lol and randy, what's not to believe in that mag? same guy rode all the bikes and turned those times. I'd say he's pretty freakin consistent too. Those are just stats man. You can't argue with statistics so what gives? even in the drag portion, with the SAME MODS done to the two bikes the R6 proved to be faster. Dont be mad because the kaw didn't prevail... I mean it WAS the bike of 04... with 36cc more... I thought it was a pretty unbiased review I mean the cover had a damn 600rr on it leading people to believe it was the bike of the year. Eh it's cool you can hate all you want, doesn't bother me. LOL an R6 came close to you last night, half a second... with a pipe only... OH and when matt was down in daytona whooping up on people, 2nd place to him was an R6.
oh no you got me mistaken I like the r6. I think its a nice ride. Wish there wernt 4 million of them in chuck town lol but no i think it is a real nice ride. Just when I saw the mag it made me think of that. And yes the R6's did do good at the dyno day. but as far as 1/2 a secon on the dradstrip..... Remember that part in "white men cant jump" Where westly snipes sais "You were almost there" with his hands like 2 feet apart. Yea that about sum's it up. 1/2 a second on the drag strip is alot. and if I remember right kieth was beating BUSA's and the beloved GSXR1000's by a FULL second. Hell he could have stoped and got groceries! {and hence the shit talking begins}

IT IS 80% RIDER ON THE TRACK IF NOT MORE...................................
On the drag strip, it's like 80% bike.
mccutch2u
10-30-2005, 04:39 PM
only if the rider knows how to launch
only if the rider knows how to launch
That would be the 20%.
yea but to get any real numbers It takes practice and skillz.
Drag racing you have practice your launch, that's about it, it's all in the first 60'. In roadracing you have many, many more things to worry about.
yea It sounds Easy doesnt it? I mean If I want to simplify your sport your just going around a corner. but it's more complicated isnt it?
yea It sounds Easy doesnt it? I mean If I want to simplify your sport your just going around a corner. but it's more complicated isnt it?
You're joking, right?
Drag racing Step #1. Good launch, first 60' #2. Maintain straight line acceleration by shifting thru gears, 1/8 mile requires less shifting. #3 There's really not a #3; it's the end of the freakin' race!
Roadracing Step #1. Good launch, first 60' helps. #2 Maintain straight line acceleration by shifting thru gears, until first corner. #3 Brake! Corner coming quickly! #4 Maintain corner speed. #5 Power out of corner to make it to next corner first and continue steps #4 and #5 thru entire lap. #6 Do this for 28 laps. #7 Don't forget you're doing all this with someone just inches from you!
My point is everyone downplays dragraceing like is a walk in the park. Its not. Not when your serious about it. Now yea anyone can drive a strait line. But how hard would you have to work to beat me. Not pokeing but just think about it. You would have to practice once or twice a week to get down to 1.5 or lower 60 ft's Oh yea dont flip her, or bog her, OR break traction. See only a million things happening in 60ft. Oh yea there is another 1/8th mile ahead of you. But it is cool I got "camra trick" into a convo today about putting a lipstick cam on my bike. I will film a race {A REAL RACE} Then I will let you watch it. I promise you will believe. umm Here's the first thing in draf raceing I had to overcome. Your bike has so much power that if you do the math upon acceleration your mind cant compute the info being put in front of you. EX When I started I never saw the 1st half of the track.... That was dangerous Had to learn how to do that. That's one of many things I had to do.
Hey dont get me wrong i have respect for what yall do. And yes it is hard Im sure. But Im tiered of all this dragraceing is cake BullShit. Get into my boots one day. Go from 0 to 120 in 6.1 seconds and then tell me how it feels. It's fun and thats why I do it but it isnt any cake walk either.

Now I wasn't there this past Friday, but didn't you lose to a SV650? Obviously he isn't a skilled racer. I'm not trying to down play your skill, but don't in drag racing you have to be consistent? I think you said that you didn't even make it to the last round. The other thing is that you lost to guy's who don't even drag race on a regular basis. Now how can I believe you when you say you are a serious drag racer. This past Friday you put enough money in you bike to be able to go down the track the fastest, but when it came to being a consistent drag racer you weren't even near the top. I think that you are a prime example of Nash's point. Which is anyone can throw enough money at a bike to go down the track the fastest.
naa the bike was set up for heads up raceing. Balls out run!!!! I could have let air out and slowed the bike down and cut 6.5's all night. But that isnt what i came to do. I had shane, Kieth, and wilkerson on my ass. So I got the ten Ready to run all out. I wasnt REALLY takeing the Bracket part all that serious. Bracket= consistency Heads up= Run what you brung So I cant come to race busas and shit then run good in bracket. it's either or.
See thats what I mean It is more complicated than you think. I could have spent 4 or 5 hours with my bike and ran a perfect bracket race. But that wasnt the challenge that was laid down before me. {and yet it is what im catching shit for} Hey why dont you ask shane and kieth what happened to them?
But Im tiered of all this dragraceing is cake BullShit. Get into my boots one day. Go from 0 to 120 in 6.1 seconds and then tell me how it feels.
Randy, you're full of shit. I've drag raced my bike once in 1999 on a '97 GSXR750. I ran 7.1 on my third run. That was a stock bike, not stretched, not lowered or geared and it sure as hell wasn't running off race gas. That was an 117hp bike and weighed considerably more than today's liter bikes. I've ridden bikes for many years and what makes you think I can't launch a bike? Just because I think its boring doesn't mean I can't do it.
You worry about everyone "down playing" drag racing on this forum? No one on this forum gives a rat’s ass who wins a drag race. Take your bragging over to scriders and preach how fast you are to "your guys" (as you like to call them).
In a straight up drag race between us, you'd probably win considering your bike set up. With that said, it wouldn't be that bad but you throw some corners in the mix, and I'll make you my bitch.
G'night, see you guys in 6 weeks.

You really have me confused now. So if you don't throw a lot money at your bike, you can be consistent. But, if you have a powerful bike you cannot be consistent? A good heads up drag racer with a powerful bike is never consistent? So your saying that your bike is to powerful to be consistant, you would need to decrease the power to be a consistent racer. You did not want to win the drag racing contest on Friday? That is a very admirable quality, I think. I on the other hand would have done anything I could to win. If shitting on my tires would have gotten me first place, then that's what I would have done. The guy who won had no time in setting up his complete stock bike up. Why would a seasoned veteran drag racer with probably the most powerful bike out there, running race fuel need hours to whip up on somebody like these guy's who don't even race. I think that you problably had at least 70 hp over Keith and who knows how much over the other guy's that you beat racing heads up. This again proves that Nash's point to be true. The guy with the most powerful bike wins when it comes to heads up racing.
No I was not interested in winning the bracket race.
You know what? fuck it! This is what im talking about. If someone runs races you guys sapport but Your guy doesnt win yall just change the rules. AFTER the race. If thats the case then screw king of the streets or king of the strip. Because reguardless of what happens ya'll have picked the winner before the race happens. I heard something like this awhile back and didnt believe it but now Im a believer. EVERY race I've won has had controversy.
Richie = "had a stock bike
Jason = {Loss} Kawis a piles of crap even though i won againt a sazuk
Jason 2 = bike was modded. Race gas. washed and waxed the thing.
Dragrace = Won where i was saposed to but lost a race that nobody saported before the race.
So fuck it. yall just get together and figure out who's fast and then we can save ourselfs alot of headaches. Dont have to work on any bikes or raceing or anything. hell in that case i vote for who ever is on a ex-250. because if they loose I can just make an excuse for why they lost.
You have issues, man. Where do you get these things? Not one of us said anything about you winning or losing. We said your skills are not as hot as hot as you think them to be. Plus, it's drag racing where not much overall skill is required.
Now, you come here and talk smack about your mad skills, but the thing is, your skills had nothing to do with it. Every bike you've raced and you've won; you've had a mechanical advantage. Every race you lost, you went an added something to your bike. And when the time came that you lost to a 750 you went and added a power commander, stretched swing arm, geared it, added race gas; etc. The rider stayed the same but the bike changed. Now what skills does that take?? Rider or bike?
This isn't english class, but try a spell check, every time I read your post I get a bit dumber.

Boy did Nash hit the nail on the head! After you lost in a big way to the 750 and the 1000 you proved that you can mod new bikes to be much faster than stock. Now we all know that the 750 and the 1000 is faster that the zx10 in stock. You are King of the Street without any question. Now as far as support goes, I was actually happy to see a Kaw that took to modding so well. I had a bet that you would win the drag racing contest on Friday, so yes I was disappointed. Now you say you lost on purpose? You did all of this work to your bike and spent all of this money and you say you meant to lose!

10-31-2005, 12:17 PM
Why would someone want to loose on purpose? Did someone pay you to do that? :yernuts:
For the last time I did not loose. I paid $10 just to get participation in the bracket up. I wasnt even really in that race. If i wanted to win why would i help everyone else so much. I gave 1/2 of the people there a good dial in.
Hey think what you want. All of the big guns that were comeing to shoot me down either didnt show up or backed out of the Heads up raceing. The ONLY one who steped up to me was kieth.
BTW there was a busa there highly modded like mine. If not more he ran a 6.9 or a 7.0. Wow what else do you need to take a second off? Skill
and I say again anyone want to produce a faster time slip than my slowest one? {not to include the rolling burn out one}

Yes, we can Keith. I am just a little bit disappointed that I bet on Randy and now he is saying he was not even trying to win. I assumed that since he invested so much time and money into his bike, and with his drag racing skills, that surely he would whip all of you rookies, bracket racing or straight up. I guess that is what I get for assuming. All I know is that I have never entered a race and not wanted to win. I would have beat them all like a redheaded stepchild and sent them home crying to their mothers. Randy you are a very admirable guy, letting the little rookies win like that.

we need to get there early so we can do it before the track gets crowded. and it should probly be a 600 tha doesnt belong to any of the people racing so that its fair to everyone. 3 runs each means no excuses; I messed the launch, spun tires, wheelied. If you cant get one clean run out of 3 then you suck anyway. some one get a 600 they dont own and give me a time and place

So if you haven't noticed Randy there has been a lot of under talking going on around here lately. Randy's bike isn't that bad, I can take it. Well you know what guys Randy is the King of the street in Charleston. He has never run from an opportunity to race any of you guy's straight up. That 10 of his has put the smack down on everything from busa's, gixxers of all forms, and cbr 1000's, including one of those fancy painted ones. BTW I here there slower? Now you guy's show up with the same bikes and you want to try the King? All of you know what Randy has, it's not a secret. No race gas? Do you guy's want him to take his pipe and pc usb off as well? Forget it, Randy stepped up the game and ran race gas the last time, if you want the title, I recommend that you don't even come out unless you have race gas. Bring your A game, fast bikes and leave the excuses at home. Second gear as usual is the only requirement.
So let's make a date. This weekend is Easter and some folk are going to the gap and some folks will be out of town like myself. The weekend of the 22nd we will be at Jennings. So let's plan to do it on Sun. April 30th? Of course we will not dicuss on this forum where and what time this will take place for obvious reasons. The only way to know when, where and what time will be by word of mouth the day before. We will do this run someplace we have never run before. So if any of you smack talkers want some of the King signup to line up or shut up.

all bs aside at the strip who have you run that is worth running ...........tell you what bring that slow ass kawi to dorchester on a sunday night and put some money on it and i would bet that you would have your ass handed to you ............also on the street you have never ran a tuned gsxr cbr or yamaha as far as i knw so you really have no room to brag and put yourself on a pedestal ................if allen would put a pipe and pc3 airfilter on you would never beat him so think about that you have yet to run someone with equal mods
IF IF IF IF
good god man you dont know me at all. I go to dorchester...and thats the least maybe you should bring that r-1 to jackson "house of hook" 1/4 mile ihra OR maybe you should ask me where i have run and what i have run before your aligator mouth overloads your tadpole ass.
Or rockingham or gainsville or railbikes at lowcountry or midawy...dorchester give me a break lol

The "fastest" track around here is the house of hook. GSXR1000's are not there because there not getting the job done. now as far as a track bike i think the 1000 can beat the 10 however as far as balls out power the 10 has it. Now giving sazuk credit there are alot of busa's there that are bad ass. like andy's who has a turbo putting down enough hp to wheelie out the hole...IN THIRD!!!! your buddy's that you think you know, know me. Barry tell me that chopper didn't out run you?
Yeah, hopefully that's just parallax at the start line.
I read on the other forum that Geno crashed. Details?
posted mike.....
Thanks Randy.
Geno went down the track and his bike drifted left, well he started to compensate and it was working so like any other dragster he plowed into the gas. well the bike went into the guardrail and pinned him for a sec then bucked him off. he continued to bounce off the guard rail for awhile.. he wasnt doing so good after the wreck however talked to chris lukarelli later on and he told me geno had no broken bones and was going to be ok. he lost a glove going down the track so he does have some rash and will be sore im sure.
See folks.. !40mph 300hp bike wrecks the rider has his gear on and will be up and walking tomorrow..... WEAR YOUR GEAR!!!!!

I'M NOT SURE IF THAT WRECK COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE. HE RAN A 5.2 AND I THINK HIS TRAP SPEED WAS 164MPH(NOT POSITIVE ON THE TRAP SPEED). IT LOOK LIKE THE 4TH OF JULY AT THE END OF THE TRACK. NEVER THE LESS, GLAD TO KNOW HE'S OK. THANKS FOR THE INFO.
