I stripped my axle pinch bolt. One of them. Only pulled on it two times with the RIGHT size allen key and it stripped. This blows. Anyone have a tap/dye set or something they can help me drill it out with. I am going to take it to champion tomorrow but I doubt shad will be able to get it out. The left side was such a biotch, the first one damn near took 3 of me to get it off. I used a bar to ease it but it didn't work on the second bolt.
Besides needing a new bolt, and giving DK a go at it, I would suggest the following:
- use a slightly oversized standard (not metric) bit, after hammering it in
- heating the bolt to loosen corrosion/locktite
- using one of those hammer-driven impact wrenches
- using an extractor set
- and as the last option, very carefully drilling it out.
Try lightly heating the metal around the bolt. then try a easy out drill bit. {these SOMETIMES work}

Hate to hear that, but it shows that the last person to put it back didn't torque it corrcetly and possibly used the wrong color loctite.
