help with moving 11/29 - 12/1

My next date for moving stuff into my new place will be this Thursday evening.

Hey ya'll, I'll be moving into a new place this coming Friday and Saturday (possibly even Thursday too, just to get the big stuff out of here), and could use a hand or two, mainly with some of the few, larger pieces of furniture that I have; my back is a bit f'd courtesy of the US Army, otherwise I wouldn't be asking. I think all of it will fit into the truck/trailer in one shot, so this part of it shouldn't take more than an hour from start to finish (my new place is about 10 minutes from my old place). More help would be appreciated, of course, but it's the big stuff that I'm really worried about. Not sure what I could offer in return besides the usual, grub and beer, so let me know.

Also, let me know if you guys have some moving boxes, computer boxes, large plastic tubs (35+ gallons), etc. that I could use for a 2-4 weeks to make this a little easier.

I think my truck and enclosed trailer should do the trick. Sure, a large moving truck would be very nice, but an unnecessary expense.

I am going out of town on Friday for 5 days, but I work at the Home Depot in Summerville, in the receiving area, I could get you Boxes and packing stuff. Let me know if you would like me to save some for you, I will be there Monday till 3PM, t,w,th till 4pm. My # there is (843) 851-4015, if I do not answer and the operator does, just ask for me (TAMMI DAILY) and they will page me.

Hit the quote button in the upper right of every post when replying to a post. Select whatever you want to have in bold (italics, different color, etc.), and hit the B button above the text area to have it bolded.

Well, I found a couple of hands on Craigslist, and we got all the big stuff loaded into the trailer.

It's pretty much all done. This guy I found through Craigslist helped me both times. Now I'll have to situate the furniture and unpack, but there's plenty of time for that. I've been working my ass off the last few days, that's for sure...
