I have a friend that is in need of a pseudo stunt driver for film.

Basically looking to do chase seen and a couple of spin outs with car.
(Travis seems the likely candidate for this one)

My friend Trevor is a member of the Carolina film alliance and will be compiling some footage for a demo/pilot that he has written.

He is looking for any assistance we can provide in order to help him complete the project. Figured many talented drivers and riders on this forum, so I would post up to see what we could do for him

Open to any takers.

Call Trevor @ 843-568-3965

Also need capable sportbike riders for additional footage....

im pretty good at sliding/drifing/hooliganism on 4 wheels... provided its rear wheel drive... i can brake slide and do some crappy stuff with FWD cars, but its not nearly as cool looking... what do they want someone to drive/do?

if i need to, i can dig out some old website vids made with some of my driving.. lol.

How skilled of a driver is he looking for? Usually Anybody with enough wheel time with a semi-powerful rear wheel drive car can slide and spin out proficiently. Many of those same guys usually end up not actually being truly fast good drivers when you stick them in a true competition environment such as Auto-X or road racing.

Also, is he supplying the car?

Derek, DJ would be a great candidate but I'm surprised you didn't mention your own Pops. I hear he's a pretty skilled driver, himself.

I have a rear drive, faded black paint..bad guy looking BMW that can drift/spin out. I'm a decent driver, but far from pro. Got a long driving record to show for the speed and corner drifting in rain/snow up north.

MK and ALL ....

This is the same Trevor that does photography with Robin Knight.

He is putting together an action pilot which requires a chase seen.

I will call him tonight and get an idea of when he wants to put all of this together. I would imagine it can be done in some industrial park and there will
be a few shots done around town and the interstate for effect.

Driver will be capable of drifting car with power on in addition to spinning the car out (180). The car is not supplied, but figured some of you might not mind abusing your car for the sake of some film making. Trevor is quite an interesting guy with a lot of great ideas when it comes to stunt sequences, but most importantly he is open to criticisms when it comes to making the sequence as realistic as possible. He is open to all of your ideas and he has put forth quite an effort in his work in the past.

He has already done a few pilots, but this will be the first one he has implemented Cars and bikes so he is a little green and needs the association of our forum members to insure the film turns out right. Does not have to be a fancy car by any means, it will be realistic.

Contact me if you are interested in lending a hand....
