Saw an A1 GP race last night .....

These are formula cars with Zytech v8 and lola chassis .....

All equipment is prepared identical and teams are picked from countries representing 80% of the worlds population....

I just found out about this series and it was some really good racing.....

An olympics of motorsports, sort of ....

Germany
Brazil
China
Switzerland
Pakistan (Yes Pakistan)
Lebanon
Ireland
New Zealand
Australia
Italy
Mexico

And quite a few more .....

Close racing around a roadrace track .....

If only they would use the same formula in Bike racing and it would be an instant hit , although the racing may not be as close as this series.....

That looks neat. It's all suspension setup and skill after that. That would be cool to move into the 2 wheel relme. I think there's a class like this over in england, based around SV650's. That would be fun though. Bar to Bar on a road course.
