I am looking for a CHEAP paddock stand/lift for occasional use at home for the endless projects I give myself. Bent, bruised, battered, or just plain ugly is perfectly fine. I was gonna make one, but wanted to ask everyone first.
Thanks fellas....Dan da man

you have the plans for a good one?

i want to make one too... but most of the 'homemade' plans i see look like crap.. i dont have a tubing bender, so im stuck with straight piece designs...

i made one for the hawk thats pretty good.. has ball bearing rollers, perfect fit machined pin, etc... but thats a single side swingarm one...

Greg Esser's fabweld used to make fold up paddock stands. Easily replicated.
No hydraulic stuff, just use a small ramp. Bike on table, spares stored neatly beneath and take advantage of cubic feet in your garage rather than floor space. Collapses down to be taken with you to the race track. Also doubles as a means to tie bike down when traveling.

Dan I have one at my shop if you want to see one. Materials would be pretty cheap and easily replicated.

Drop by to see one in person.
