Yo Jason, I have a customer / friend who is gonna visit
you within the next day or two. His name is Hansel, he is a bald
Puerto Rican dude who is just learning to speak decent english.
This is a good dude who owns his own company that installs
fiber cement & vinyl siding. He says the last time he was in
Champion he didn't get good vibes. I told him to go back in there
& ask for you. He is debating between a 600RR or a Gixxer. I'm
sure he will mention my name when he heads to Champion.

they're also round, rubber, and guys generally buy them a size bigger then they need.... :lol:



from typical sportbike rubber, i get about 6k... that sounds great until you realise that means im buying tires every 3-4 months... at that point $40 for a set of tires looks awfuly good.
race scuffs really dont have much of a downside.. you hear people complain about one thing or another, but really, its sticky rubber, that has plenty of life left... rain traction? guys use these to race in the rain.
sure you can get scuffs that are old, over heatcycled, worn to the ragged edge...... or you can get some that have been only scrubbed in, but are trashed because they can...
so you cant really say all of this reason or that reason is wrong.... but its not as horrible as some people make it out to be.
