2006 Track Days

Do you guys get a membership with a club or just go to a track day whenever it rolls around?

I'm thinking about signing up with STT and doing track days with them next year. I am just trying to find more people with that group because I don't want to travel the whole year by myself.

Most of us just go when there is a track day and several of us can go together. It is not a good idea to go by yourself just in case you wreck and can't drive yourself home, load your stuff or break down on the way there or back especially as a woman.

Yeah if you are a wimp like Jason and can't load up your bike by yourself.......j/k

It is definatly not a good idea to go by yourself incase you get hurt but I see people doing it at the track all the time and it usually puts the burden on a perfect stranger at the track or a family member to come get youre crap if you are injured. Plus it is more fun with people you know and help share the time driving. There are a good amount of people from around Charleston doing track days now. Jason and I are going to try to post all track events we are planning on attending. But we don't need to plan as much as some people do. So we may deside to go days in advance leaving most people short on time to get ready but we will let everyone know anyways. Once you start to do more and more it becomes routine and you won't be as stressed out about getting ready.
