Wel I just read that KWS is no longer supported by factory Suzuki. Does this mean a possible brand switch? I would doubt it but thought I would ask anyway.

Well unless RRX don't know what is going on, it is true. I read it on pg 36 of this months issue saying Suzuki dropped 4 of the 8 satellite teams it supported including KWS. Hooters was also one but they are keeping Jordan, M4/Emgo and 2 others I didn't recognize myself. Well it is time for Burns to post up.

Does seem like a bad deal for sazuki though. with keveins race bike's in almost all the mags and NOW sazuk would want to jump ship? not a smart buisness move if you ask me. but hey welcome to kawi country!!!

A little Kevin history 101. He raced Hondas when he raced as a privateer. And as far as him helping you because you have a Kawi. Thats just Kevin being Kevin. Even if you have the slowest POS on the road he would help you if you showed interest and listened to what he has to say. If you go in there with a attitude that you know everything he will just brush you off. He knows bikes and will help who ever has the $$$$.

As far as losing Suzuki thats has to be a big blow but he still has a big following of customers in the roadracing scene and he always has dragracing too. But it will be disapointing not to see them on the grid for Daytona. Guess we will have to wait on Steve to reply.

I was trying to wait till the press release before saying anything at all. There is so much I can not say no matter what, even after the press realese. So if you can read between the line..........

Yes it is true we and many others have been dropped by Suzuki. :cry: If M4 EMGO is getting any help at all it is very little. Most of the help from Suzuki is going towards Jordon and Carmichael. Why is Suzuki dropping us even after setting world records with the Suzuki motor. I guess somewhere along the line Mel thought that no other Factory ( HON,KAW,YAM) is really helping the small teams out so why should Suzuki. Word was out towards the end of the 05 season that Suzuki was going to tighten their belt. It is what it is.
Ronayers Motorsports is stepping up in a really big way!! ( thanks Jimmy :wtg: ) This makes Suzuki very happy. And they hope that other big dealerships will see this as a good thing and step up to help the smaller teams out.
KWS MOTORSPORTS will be on Suzuki bikes for the 06 race season.
I still can not say who the other rider is for us or who the new sponsors may be. If Kevin and the others knew I said this much they would hold me down shave my face and kick my R6 over.
At the end of every season most teams sell the race bikes and turn the money over to Suzuki. If the bikes are not sold they are just sent back.
You have surprised me cbrjunkie. Not many remember that Kevin use to race a Honda.

I know you was just waiting to bash me Burns. I found out what is going on anyway and here it is for all to know, KWS is running Hyosung bikes with ethnol instead of race fuel and sponsored by Champion Honda. I could keep the secret anymore just hope this doesn't spoil the press release.

hey man what ever the case is kevin will do just fine. this comeing from another buisness owner. the best thing you can have is to be in a buis. for a long time and still be exited about it. he is. and his exitement gets other people ramped up! If sazuki where to dick kevin and kws they would be makeing a huge mistake. I am sure kevin will now do something to make them correct this MISTAKE! I for one will continue to throw money kevins way to get the most hp out of my bike. Burns. i need full race leathers. with the speed hump. i have been moveing and have had no time to come in. also order me the thinner head gasket and i will let you know tomorow about the cam. Suzuki is not dicking us over. It is up to Mel to decide where the susport goes. Tons of the susport is going to Jordon ( be nice if he used his own loot ) and to Carmicheal. Suzuki is doing what is best. And they have big hope that other big dealership like Ronayers Motorsports will step up and join in in helping teams out more. ( now would be a good time to start a line outside champion Yamaha ) KWS is not mad at Suzuki in anyway. We are excited to still be racing. And we will still be on Suzuki motorcycles next year and problem for a long time to come.

Yea, It would be nice to see some local boys on it like Trey, Matt, DK, and Kenny. Now that would be one bad ass team. Did I fail to mention that the back up rider would be the Kang himself, Jason. Oh my goodness, when is there first race?
