I was thinking the other day though, is a $30k increase in 5 years reasonable? Or is it just because the european equivalent or the viper are so high priced? A Z06 in 2003 or 2004 even were less than $50k now they're $80k... granted it's got more hp and has been completely revamped but $30k... really? Still has the bang for the buck but damn!

The original C6 Z06 price was about 65K. That was about 8k more than the '04 C5 Z06. I was looking at the new Z06 the other day, while I had my truck at Marathon, and there's heavy mark ups, at least 6 or 7k. But what's surprising me, is how well they are holding value. The 06's are still going for high 50s! Anyway, I'm looking to get into the CTS-V or the Audi S5 in the next couple years. Both are sweet rides.

Yea I went and looked at the CTS-V a couple weeks ago. That thing is bad ass. Reminds me of that right guard commercial... "anything less would be uncivilized"

I wouldn't say the porsche kicked his ass. The second time they raced there was a car in his lane so he had some troubles and had to slow down lol. That porsche was twin turbo too i'm sure. I'd say from the light the porsche would not stand a chance. But hey ya can't win 'em all.
