Nope. I doubt Hammer would get suckered into acting a fool on the street. On the track, however, he'd smoke it like a Cuban cigar :lmao:

well...that's too bad....because for some reason Wade (g35 driver) seems to think that nobody can beat his time around CGP (26.3 seconds).....not even a vette...

Gatman I think that your Uncle is one heck of a driver. Now with that being said I have a question?

Isn't drifting kinda stupid? Maybe I just don't understand it? Hell when I used to do that in a car it was called just burning up tires for no good reason. Now it's a sport? What is the real point? I understand rally car drifting, but this street drifting, I just don't get it.

BTW if I had a car to drift, I would probably be drifting. Second thought I probably would be auto crossing and beating up on the Hammer!

I know one thing...If I wanted a fast time, I wouldn't be drifting. Hanging the tail out costs you time except in the rare condition the turn is so tight that throttle oversteer can be used to rotate the car around the tight element. There is a reason drifting is a "judged" contest. It sure looks fun but it is not the fast way.

And about your "second thought".... :lmao:

I think the drifting is more about control than speed. Auto cross they look for the faster time, drifting they look for the control of the vehicle. I'm sure the Hammer knows that there is sometimes a fine line between stepping out and spinning out. And of course it is just basically burning up tires. But then again, that's why they are mostly sponsored by Toyo, pirelli, BF Goodrich......

A good driver he is....and of course he knows that drifting isn't the fastest way around the track, he was purely showing off for the camera....

now as far as that G35 beating a vette around CGP...I don't know...those we're his words....although it would be fun to see:whistle:

No offense to your uncle, but without seeing him pull the same move several times in a row, it's impossible to tell if he's good or just got lucky (along with you, for not getting flattened). Consistent results make someone 'good' or a 'pro'.
