Going to head up to CMP for a NESBA trackday on the 6th of Sept. It will be my first so I am pretty excited about it.

A buddy of mine will be up there as well, so at least I am going to know someone there. Anybody interested in going up?

Any tips anyone would like to pass along would be helpful as well.

Gotta get a list of things I am going to need for the trip.

Opinions on the below appreciated or:
Suit: Teknic Chicane $300 (I know there is better but as a starter)
Gloves: Teknic Chicane Full Gauntlet $35
Tires (maybe):
Pirelli Diablo Corsa III SET $295 shipped
Bridgestone BT-016 SET $240 shipped
Bridgestone BT-002 RS SET $240 shipped
or
Michelin PP 2CT SET $290 shipped

Patrick, any deals at Champion on the above. Would rather spend a couple bucks more to support a local dealer than going online.

Thanks man. I joined this morning and signed up for the trackday already. I suppose I should take a look at their prices as well. Not positive that I will need them but I figure, I might as well include them in the budget just in case.

Booty freak do you know if I can transfer a credit with Nessa? I have $130 credit and they are not motard friendly I was very turned off by the way I was treated. If I can transfer it I take $100 for it.

You can definitely sell your credits. I'll take you up on your offer
if you can wait til the first of August. :yeah:

You might have to twist my arm a little bit. I should be able to
pull this off since I had to miss Roebling this past weekend.

Sounds good. Booty is trying to get me to change to Roebling the week before.

I understand there are more places to watch from so the girls will be able to see more, but I don't know yet. Gotta talk with a buddy of mine if he is stuck on CMP, if so that is when and where we are going.

Pretty sure it was you whom we rode up to CMP for the CCS races, right?

Yeah - that was me that rode up there with you and Dave. CMP is a good time - as is Roebling. By girls do you mean your kids? If so they will have a good time at CMP - mine do. This will only be my second time on CMP so I am looking forward to picking up some speed, now that I am a little familiar with it. I have been thinking of adding Roebling the week before as well - not sure yet - kinda waiting for a few work/travel plans to finalize.

If it's your first track day you may want to read through this list:

You may also want to look into a Baxley (http://www.baxleycompanies.com/Sportchock.html) with this carry handle (http://www.mirrorplates.com/product.sc?categoryId=1&productId=22)if you don't already have one. I love mine to pieces!

There should be some guys from Raleigh that I know there. So the more the better and I may try and take my new motard to learn how to ride it.

I too have had some run ins with the NESBA police. As a organisation I think they have the right attitude, just a few bad apples in the staff.
