I truly hope this article is some what true. However I would put no stock into it. My major problem with this article is that it's a european magazine article. I don't know why this is, but the euro bike test articles are almost always souped up. Another thing, with almost no increase in hp, the bike is now faster than the gixxer? Time will certainly tell if there is any truth to these rumors. Randy,how is this the zx 10's 3rd master bike. From what I recall the only liter bike that has been faster than any gixxer was during 04. Certainly you are aware that the 2001,2002, 2003, and or course the 2005 gixxer 1000's are the top liter bikes of those perspective years.

The master bike. now wait... were talking the magazine artical titled "master bike" the zx-10r won in 04 and 05. I think we may be looking into 06 also.

If you say so, but I think it's a hard sell of trying to convince anyone that the zx 10 is a better bike than the 05 gixxer 1000. I think that the gixxer beat the zx 10 at just about every spec except maybe comfort. I'm sure you could find a magazine article to say something to that effect. Just like you could probably find one to say the samething about the cbr 1000. However, the streets and the track don't lie like some paid magazine writers. I believe the 04/05 zx 10 had enough problems beating the 05 gixxer 750. How much money does it take to make a zx10 out run a stock 05 gixxer 1000? In CCS racing this past year I never saw a zx10 take the top podium spot at any events, nor did I see this in the AMA or any other roadracing event. Like I said, that's a very tough sell to get someone to believe that any zx10 is a better bike all around than the 05 gixxer.

I think that anyone that trys to compare the ZX10 to the GSXR is waisting their time. It always comes down to personal preferance. I'm glad I never have been the type of person to care what a magazine article says to base my buying decision on. They are all to close to call a clear winner and I have never bought a bike that was chosen as a winner but yet I have aways been 100% satisfied. Well maybe not 100% but its funny that the one quarel I have with my bike is nothing ever discused in magazines.

the gsxr id deffinately a better handleing bike than mine. no doubt! but they are no longer at the dragstrip.... the gsxr is like a classy chick and the zx-10 is like a porn star. both are great just depends on your taste

Second of all you just said that the gixxer in your opinion handles better..........and last but not least how much did you have to do to beat the stock gsxr.............pipe pc3 air filter $22.00 a gallon race fuel so what are you saying...............................and at the dragstrip if you want to put some big money down i will bet that i can find a gsxr that will spank that ass

When you're talking MotoGP(never in 56 years!), AMA(last in '96) or World Superbike(last in '93) Champions, then come see me.

If you're talking street, then mod for mod my CBR wouldn't have had any trouble laying the smack down to your zx10 in handling or straight line power. But since you don't understand the mechanical advantages you've had over every race you've won, I'm just wasting my time. Funny thing is you lost some when you did have the mechanical advantage.

i guess thats a bet you should have taken but mod for mod the suzuki will win against the zx10 it would cost you 9500 to get the hp that 6000 would get you from a suzuki not to mention from what i have heard the kawis cant handle the power

depends. if its on the strip it is standing second to none. but in the corners the 06 is the way to go.
