I am thinking about buying a 2000 Yamaha 426 motard but was wondering how many people in Chucky town ride on the street. I think I would be getting it for a great price. How much would one be worth there with full setup of wheels and rotors with it already tagged for the street?

It looks like my 50...on steroids! I don't know how much it's worth, but it looks like fun. If you think it's a good deal, get it.
Motards are too much fun on the street. You'll probably wind up doing all kinds of stupid and illegal shit... so yeah, go for it! :p
On the practical side, you'll be going through a lot of maintenance, sprockets, chains, etc.

My motard is more fun than I've ever had on my liter bikes or 600's. I ride mine everyday and just got back from the Gap/NC and had more fun than I've ever had on a bike.
I'm hooked.

Doesn't sound too bad if it's running good. Check the gearing and make sure it is gonna handle the road use. Your tranny could take a beating, not to mention the top end. You should enjoy the bike though. They are a blast and make great track bikes.
