some of yall know im big into maintence. Well i got mac's old track bike and want to take care of it too.... so the bike just came off the track. If it's like dragracing then it's time for a oil change.. yes no?

BTW Barry i got your tire warmers...

Anyway, tires. I have lots of tread left but is it time for new tires right off the track? can you run multiple times on them? do i need to post pic's of them?

Coolant Do i need to change this? If so where do i get water wetter?

When are we going again? I have alot of people that say they want to go...

Will it be as crazy as last time?

BTW kenny , mac and jason I spoke with eric who has taken a track school and he told me you guy's tought me more than he learned so thanks.

Well since it is just a 600, you should throw it on its side and not look at it again til your ready to go back to the track.

hey, randy, if you have any questions about proper care of the bike in between track days, just give me a call on my cell or at the shop. the oil should be changed after every track day, and you can change the filter every other. the coolant should be fine, just check the level. the tires...as long as they have tread on them and they grip on the track, ride the shit out of them. if you're using tire warmers, they will last even longer. that bike is really good on tires, so they'll last you a good long time. DO NOT leave mr9 or any other race fuel in the bike for extended periods of time!! race fuel=carb clean!!

Besides the usual oil change just take you're time when changing tires and brake pads, etc. Use safety wire or thread lock on the important parts. To me brakes are the most important thing to make sure is operating properly. No matter who you are you will need them some point or another.

Kenny said a date just opened up for the 5th of March at Roebling. Private trackday. No large crowds like at Jennings. But we need about 20 people to brake even. $105 a person. I'm sure Kenny will be posting soon to see if there is enough interest.
