These are pretty cool

www.cmjmotorsports.com

Stopped by their sales office after going to the doctor yesterday (his office is around the corner).

Dan (salesman) told me if I came back in an hour that there would be one available for a test drive. I almost took him up on it, but the sky was getting pretty dark. It ended up pouring, so I didn't miss anything.

Talk about a few trick parts. You should see the triple tree on that front end!

Oh, I had to stop by the DMV to trade a tax receipt for a renewal decal, and saw a poster on the wall regarding trikes. Apparently, SC requires a special license now for these things! I hope the guys who ride them know about this or they could be cited and have to go through the ticket hassle.

If I were going to buy a trike I would probably look at one of these. I think the older crowd is digging the Spyder. I've seen a couple of them running around lately.

They were at the Halos ride. Nice people. Their bike got a lot of looks.

If you currently have a trike, and a M/C endorsement, you are "grandfathered in". If you buy your first trike today, or you've had one and been riding with a permit, you gotta take the special test.
That is how the DMV explained it to me.
