Well, after a good year where I beat all comers in the Super Stock class to win another South Carolina Region Championship...and also won the even bigger South Eastern Division ASP championship...I'm now getting the opportunity to run in the SOLO National Championship in Topeka, KS.
Though I will not be in the Vette. I was offered the chance to Co-drive Chuck Pyanowski's 300ZX turbo in SM2. It's a fast and vicious little car and I have never driven it. But that's not stopping me. My biggest worry is the non linear way the power comes on with his car. Hopefully I can get a grasp on it and do well.
I have no expectations of winning...I'm taking this opportunity to experience the big race so when I, hopefully, am truly ready for a shot at the championship in my Vette, I won't be a National's rookie.
