DK... he's the guru... and if he makes it out to RRR, it won't take him more than a few minutes to set you up as well as possible with whatever you have for suspension.
...or you could give him a call at 568-8841.

DK or others may correct, but find out how much total suspension travel you have (all the way up, and maxxed out down). Lets use 10 inches as a nice round #. Now get on the bike with all your gear in riding position. You should end up with 25% of the total travel being your sag, or 2.5 inches of the 10 inches total. These are just good starting points. Actual riding may have you stiffen it up, or take a round or two out.
