So Trav...you think we could help the guy...He asked if there was a way to bypass, or jumper something to make the bike run for now.

My suggestion is points ignition, and carbs. No more of that fancy electronic crap to get in the way.

Yo, if anyone has an 07 or 08 ZX-6R and wants to relocate their license plate under their seat, send me a message. I did it to mine using the existing metal license plate bracket and a wingnut. Didn't cost me a dime. There will be NO drilling of any kind either. I would post a pic but unfortunately I am half the world away from my bike so I can't at this point in time.
