i see that we have east coast power sports on the forum now as a paid sponser. my question is for the moderator that helped make the deal possible. i am curious what kind of cost that is. i work in a car dealership and we are looking for new ways to advertise. there are many forum pertaining to the type of car i work on and we want to persue that kind of advertisement. i am looking to know what it costs. feel free to pm if you do not want those numbers public.

Gemini,
You can advertise on my web site ;)
We're all local www.charlestonreefers.org
It's got nothing to do with pot :)
Mike,
If you need a way to randomly display banners, hit me up.
I got a little freeware code that does it really well.

The cost of advertising on a forum varies greatly, with some of the variables being the size of the site, the amount of traffic it gets, the size/location/frequency of the ad(s), exclusivity, what others have already paid the site for a similar arrangement, etc.
Just approach the forums that you're interested in advertising on, and ask. They may very well have a set price schedule. Oh, and if you're interested in advertising here, PM me.

Werd. I've seen it as low as $50/month and as high as $125/week. Like Mike said, there's really no rule for this.
