Personally I read and type pretty fast.
Realistically, there are not enough people on this site that post that quickly to warrant the 30 second delay.

i'm not saying that you need it, but there are several that should utilize the spell check or proof-read their posts. that would take up the rest of their time.

its one thing when someone screws up occasionally, you know in the heat of typing, forget an "l" in occasionally or mess up and (adn). but to completely screw up the same words over and over......ie. woulder....how anyone could phonetically get woulder from wonder. not once, twice, three times but (and i'm guessing) 90%+ of his posts.....wtf??? there are other errors, but that's the one that hits me first. i don't give him hell for using the {insted of (and)} and that requires the use of the shift key just like (and). i mean, it would take one less press if you were just [and]. and chad, i understan dwh yhe type sthe way hedoes. he hunts and pecks. and if you're fired up on the keyboard, you just pound away, never looking up and not caring to proofread, but to each his own. i figure if you want to run around looking like an ignorant ass, go ahead. it just doesn't look all that professional (and the ones that do the majority of the mispelling are promoting their "profession," in some form or another on this site. if you can't spell correctly how are you supposed to read a tape, tally up a take off, figure up a bill, etc, etc. i don't ask for anyone to be perfect, but try to better themselves. is that too much?

not at all. i think it is funny. that's all. my ability to use the english language sucks. i'm a math kinda guy. the english language is full of too many rules to change based on the word. i guess that is why i passed my senior year of high school with a 70 in english and 94 in physics. well that and i just didn't care for english class. LOL

I dropped out because of English. Couldn't stand reading and I wanted to go to college.
I aced my English entrance exam, like 98%. Failed my math entrance exam LOL math was my best subject in HS.
However I got a 100 in the math class. I spent the majority of my time programming the TI-85 calculator to figure out all of the answers for me automatically.
Tell you what I can't wait to give my TI-85 to my 10 yr. That thing is like gold.

just razzin' ya guys. had a ti-85 and didn't know how to do shit with it.
hate english myself, history was my thing. now i'm kinda well rounded....mechanics, electronics, just about anything i put my hands on, i want to know how it operates, where it originated, the ins and outs of it.

I'm sure there's some sites out there with TI programs on it, I've just never spent time googling for them.

It's a method of flood control. Should any spam bots get through they can easily crash the server if there are no precautions in place.

thought i'd revive this thread with a +1 for spellcheck for those who need it (and you know who you are...).
