Last weekend a friend of mine and I went to this track that he had been telling me about. All I can say is effing awesome. The track was built by a guy that used to race and it is the essence of the word MX. Awesome jumps, tabletops, straights and corners. I didn't think I'd like it because I'm used to riding at wambaw in the woods but I had a blast. Some of the jumps you can get about 20 ft. of air. We are thinking about renting it for our B-day's. If anyone is interested in coming let me know. Should be aroung the middle of Nov. We are probably going to go every weekend and the fee is $15. Pretty cheap for the amount of fun you have. We both have trail bikes and they handle awesome out there. You don't need a full MX bike. And if any of you guys think MX is gay compared to the street, you've never really ridden a dirtbike. Most fun you can have on two wheels. Just thought I'd give a review. :yeah:

I've been there a time or two with my son. It is pretty fun. Plus it's not that crowded.

Not that far, wish I had a dirt bike.

I'm definitely in for some off-road ridin'.

Been a while since I had the old dirt machine running. My experience also is only with trail riding, wambaw and enoree, glad to hear us trail riders can hang at the mx track.

Let me know if you end up renting the track.

Keith was actually by the shop today. He's a great guy. Unfortunatlly I here the track is tied up in a divorce battle with he and his wife. I hope he gets to keep it.

Right on man...we just got back from the track and even with it pouring for most of the day it was still awesome. Seems like everytime you go out there you find jumps that you can hit harder and fly further. Hell, even our wives were out there getting muddy. I know we're rednecks. Any weekend you want to go out there let me know and we can hook it up. We've got a four place trailer, so we have plenty of room. You won't regret it...well...unless you brake something, lol.

most GREAT street guys have roots in dirt (no pun intended.) there are very few exceptions to this rule.

Yup, you sure can. The only thing is that you need to have a tether kill switch in case you fall off and the wheeler keeps going. My buddy has a 660 raptor we took out there and had a blast on. The jumps may beat you up though. We took it easy on them cause the wheeler wants to nose dive.
