Yamaha really screwed up big time on this one. The ruthless lies caused them to get a lot of sales, but it will cost them a lot of loss sales as well. I cannot believe the weak performance of this engine. Why didn't they just use last years motor, then they could have another year to work on the current motor? I know they lost one sale, me.

This whole 17.5k redline ordeal has really surprised me. Good to see they buying bikes back. I've never seen this happen, so Yamaha looks to be going in the right direction.

yea i agree. good customer satisfaction. so what happens to them now. anyone here want a new bike with 150 miles on it?

it is really stand up of yamaha to offer the buy back, not surprised really. since working at the yamaha store i have found that they "care" more about customer satisfaction than any of the other brands. they even offered us dealers the opp to cancel our orders. i am keeping my order the same as i have ridin this bike and it will kick any 600's ass out there right now. WATCH DISALVO!! you'll see. plus you should see what yamaha offers in the way of factory race parts, they are serious about this bike and like the r1 in 98 and the rc51 in 2000, it will change every thing. keep watching.........................................
