Ding! We have a winner! Nissan/Datsun started going down hill after the 240.

I was just thinking about this the other day. You know this means that used 350Zs will now become very affordable for the average Joe. I plan on buying one if I get a new job with a $$$ bump.

Check out GMs page and look at the $105,000 XLR-V 440HP
Check out GMs page and look at the $105,000 XLR-V 440HP
XLR-V is a good looking car, but there's something about a 550hp 4-door that can beat a BMW M5 in every category except price.
But back to the 370Z. I think Nissan has hit the jackpot with this new one and, personally, I think it looks better than the GT-R.

It is very similar to the GT-R. Nash, you've got to drive the BMW 550i. M3 power in a 5 Series. It's freaking awesome!!! Drove one because my buddy had it as a loaner for his 335i Vert, which is awesome all by itself. So he let me take it for a "test drive" :D I turned off the traction and stability control and did some track racing in that undeveloped place across from the Texxaco on Ladson. :D Drift BABY!
Here's the GT-R
And incase you guys want more GT-R porn http://www.gtrnissan.com/index.en.us.html?site=nissanusa&area=usaglobal_header#

I haven't driven the 550i but I have driven the 335i. That sucker will fly!
The GT-R is fast but the thing isn't near as fast as Nissan originally claimed. Also, I've heard where the GT-R has had tranmission problems because of hard launches and isn't covered under warranty. The tranmission repair is in the upwards of $30k.

WOW that's money.
The paddle shifting and Sport Mode on the 335i makes that thing drive HARD!!!
Do the 550i, it's bada$$!
What's the hp on the 370Z?

we just had a GT-R here and if you havent seen it in person...you havent seen it.
i thought from the poster it was goin to be a 350z on steroids but it really is beautiful and sounds really good. im not ur typical GT-R nutswinger but i have to say i was very impressed with it.

also the 370z is goin to be a hit but god forbid you ever put a cold air intake on it that might allow for a hydrolock situation in charleston's nice little floods.
your lookin at a motor that lists for $9998.

Also why I bought a truck. Love my little Colorado, just need to jack it up and put some big tires on it.
Just don't drive downtown.

I saw a new GT-R in person as well. Like you say it is one beautiful ride. To me the new 370Z looks almost like the old 350Z not much of a change.
What would be more important is the new 370Z going to bring some much needed horsepower to the table?

Odd site, tons of potential, but very little information.
I found this to be a bit odd of a thing to post.
The Nissan 350Z has many features to make the car more convenient for the user; this can be seen in the Nissan navigation system with GPS, DVD atlas and 7" color LCD monitor as well as the trip computer with multiple functions and the auto-dimming rearview mirror.
I can go by a Ford Focus and have all of that crap too.

Nissan put out an update to fix the launch control issue. Read about it on autoblog.com
GT-R is a beautiful car. But heck with what they are selling for right now you could purchase a used Porsche GT2.

I likey the GT-R. I wonder though if its all cheap plastic interior. If im paying that much I at least want a quality interior that doesnt look like it came out of a sentra.

Saw a GT-R on 26 yesterday heading back from Greenville. Looks very nice, this one was white. I pulled along side of him, but he did not want to play!

I don't blame him...Dave and I would be in jail if we played with every Tom, Dick, and Harry who wanted to "play" with our Z06's.
