There's a bunch of tasty bikes for sale on craigslist... an 06 R6 for $3700 (yes, local, so probably not a scam), an 02 Warrior for $4900, lots of Ninja 250's including an 07 for $2500... damnit... I don't need another bike but these prices are tempting :crap:

You could donate one to me. I'd be ok with that.

Hey do used car lots have the same kind of access for motorcycle auctions as they do for car auctions?

Yes they do, but they don't know the going rates on bikes, so they normally leave them alone.

hmm...I might have a guy that could hook us up. He's down in FL and ATL all the time.

Yeah. Tall skinny blonde head guy, hot GF :D
Never talked to him about bikes, but he's got killer deals on late model BMWs in good condition. He gets most of his stuff from FL, says that's the top quality stuff down there.

You may be surprised, looking for almost $1000 under average nadaguides value. Maybe whoever wins the Aprilia tomorrow will want this for a track bike and the Aprilia can be the weekend warrior.

If I were to win the Aprilla then I already have my track bike. PM me what your asking unless you want to post it.

I'll go by and talk to him next week.

If it turns out that he can "hook us up" I'll post his info.

I'm the 2nd owner bought it from Jason at Champion. 2003 Ducati 749 Biposto, yellow the fastest color, 7300 miles, new battery, 2 rear seats (black and yellow), full Termignoni exhaust, Ducati Performance ecu, race filters, clear front turn signal lenses, carbon fiber rear hugger, rear fender eliminator, tinted windscreen. 6000 mile service was completed at Champion. Will need clutch pack in near future as well as an oil change within the next 700 miles. Only problem is it has small hole in right lower fairing where exhaust was not mounted properly and melted, smaller than a dime and bought it like this. Cleaned and waxed religiously and I’ve only been caught in the rain once. No track days since I’ve owned. Looking for $7250 which is under average Nada value to account for clutch pack and items for oil change. Most banks use the Nada guide instead of KBB for vehicles other than cars/trucks, just FYI.

Sounds like a good deal but yeah, it's more than what my budget is allowing at the moment.
