Yep, it started today. I've already seen a sizeable amount of bikes on the road just going into work, and I bet we'll be up to our ears in two wheelers by this weekend.
Amongst other things, it means:
- tighter police enforcement, so make sure you've got your paperwork, and your bike is legal (remember the license plate fiasco?)
- watching out for squids of all ages on all makes of bikes
- increased potential for bike theft
- increased DUI/DWI
...let's hope that the next 10 days go by relatively safely and smoothly
