View Full Version : Hooters bike bash!!! It is ON!!! 14th
Well folks I just got done with the mangers of hooters and wow. this is going to be real nice. We have got everything hammered out. with the exeption of 2 things.
Do we want fiddy races or to see swyrl play there? they are interested in haveing swyrl there but i am haveing a hard time getting a hold of them..... But it is one or the other.
Ok we will start with tin mans fav. There going to bring in a budwiser trailer and stick a tap in it.... lol no really they are.
2nd 98x is in. They are helping promote it. Im going to the studio on the 13th to do a live pro mo on the air. Potter will also be there partying with us.
3rd Budwiser is sponcering the event also so there printing 1000 fliers and there will be a banner hanging at hooters next tuesday.
4th We donated alot of stuff to the halo program at DSS and it was cool so we will be holding a 50 50 drawing and a "pic with hooters" to raise money for them There also maybe a auction for some donated stuff to help them also. so get drunk and help some kids {welcome to the south}
5th beer tub with hooters girl
6th fiddy races! or swyrl
7th all your buddys.
I need help getting as many people there as possible. hooters said they would do this once a month if there were enough people. i asked how much was "enough" there responce at least 100. So if you know a guy who knows a guy who has a bike help out. think about it. we could have a party on the rasio every month if we play our cards right.
Yes, we're working on this, and much, much more. We decided on the 14th because doing it the 12th would conflict with folks going to Daytona.
bike week ends on the 12th

Nope. Kat, Puerto, Tony, and I talked yesterday, and figured out that the 14th was the day to do it, because quite a few people will still probably be in Daytona on the 12th.
uhhh ok... i didnt know anyone was talkin about it.lol this was between me and hooters till now lol

I'm not bringing the youngin, but I didn't have a choice about Dave. The sitter didn't want him.

Congrads to everyone who had an hand in making this happen. I know that the Hooters folks were very happy. This was really an awsome event that you guy's put together. DK and the all the other 50 riders really put on a show. I think that I saw some members representing just about every bike group in town. You guy's did an awsome job and you should be commended. I'm looking forward to the next event.

Those are great.
On a related note, you must get tired of hearing that.

Thanks. As usual I think that some turned out alright, and some were just ok.
No, I'm not - it's good to hear that what I do is appreciated. If no one told me that they liked my pics, there'd be the point in sharing more of them, so I'd stop.
WOW mike under 180 pics that new lol

The pics are awesome thanks. Also a big thanks to everyone that was responsible for making bike night a reality. I had an absolute blast and got to make some new friends. I am going to try and drag out some more of my vintage rider friends for next time. Once they see the pics I'm sure they will realize how much fun they missed out on last night. I may have to make a few modifications to the 1973 Honda Trail bike for next time so I don't get lapped as often. I definitely am going to have to spring for a set of kneepads and try to get my big flat tracking foot up off the pavement and onto the pegs. Lets do it again soon!!!!!

I like pic # 56 with the sparks flying out from behind the back wheel and then pic #58 oops that might have been a little too low. I guess while scrapyard is fixing his back tire I need to go Thank Kenny for hooking us up with prizes and see about putting it towards some more horsepower for the old bike.

I think next time we should get the announcer a mic and a mini amp. It was difficult to hear what was going on.

Good idea Kat. Scrapyard I love that woodgrain on your 50. Pretty awsome. I like the pic of the 50 doing a power wheelie trying to stay ahead of DK.

That was one of our mechanics, Jonny, over at Cycle World. Gota say I was impressed. Didn't know he could ride a 50 like that. I think we represented pretty well :spin:

The man has some skills on a 50 for sure. I was glad to see someone give DK a run for the money. Now all we need is to have Kenny, Matt, Charles and some of the other 50 owners to jump in. That would be sweet.
