FLORENCE, S.C. -- Honda of South Carolina has announced it will stop production during the months of March, April and May because of the country's weakening economy.
The Morning News of Florence reported that Jeff Helton, Honda's assistant vice president for support services, said the company will not lay off its associates or close the Timmonsville-based plant during that time.
Helton said the company has offered voluntary separation packages. He said associates were notified in December of the company's plans to stop production in March. Associates were notified Monday morning that production also would be stopped for April and May.
The company's Web site said Honda is the manufacturer of all-terrain vehicles and personal watercrafts

Thing about the donations, each individual is only allow to donate $50,000 max. No private or public companies can donate nor any non-profits.

Well they made it sound like on the news that it was heavily monitored. But I know what you mean.
The Inauguration Committee is an independent organization.

I also heard it cost 170M. Freaken crazy in my eyes with all the issues were having. Don't know how he can justify it.
But like someone said above. Why would he care. He has his paycheck coming. Not to mention even after he doesn't have a job still guaranteed at least 100k a year for life!
...and what, the other Presidents' inaugurations and vacations were free? Gimme a break. Maybe the single biggest difference is that with Obama's intentional move to a more transparent government, more of the costs are finally visible.

They redesign the Presidential Limo every year or every new president. This new one, that was in the parade, was specifically redesign with his safety in my with new safety measures. One thing they did do was make the cabin taller for larger windows, same bullet and bomb proofing, if not better. That's why it looked like a truck.
Having said that I didn't watch the parade that much, and I have seen pictures of the new limo.
And to add one more thing, whether it's Obama or Howdy Doody as the President, I want him protected at all times at any costs! Dem or Rep, he's the man at the top of the list and if it cost $1 Billion to keep his ass alive to keep the country safe, so be it!
You think Obama is bad, what do you think we'd be dealing with if we had Bidden for the next 4 years? Seriously, think about it.
