Here are changes I implemented today:
- added NOT WORK SAFE forum, a place to put all the stuff you wouldn't want your boss, my boss, or children to see; basically nudie pics etc go here, and will be unceremoniously put here if found in other forums
- added flame wars to the description of the Off-Topic forum; this means that if you really want to chew someone out, please do so here, and not in someone's else's thread (starting a flame war in an unrelated thread is a one of the worst forms of "thread-crapping", or going totally off-topic)
- moved the New Members thread (forum conversation) from its own forum to the General Discussion forum, and deleted the New Members forum; I figure that a single stickied (always at the top) thread should do the trick until membership grows enough to warrant a whole forum
- consolidated a couple of other barely-used forums
The two first things (NWS and flame-wars) should be self-explanatory. I don't mind either NWS posts, or flame wars, but they now have their own place to flourish, so post and flame away... just not everywhere, please :wtg:
