I have a 95 RM 250 that I need to have a new sleeve pressed and if the price is right possibly put back together. I am new to the Summerville SC area and was wondering if anyone can suggest a machine shop or bike repair shop that would be able to press the sleeve at the very least and maybe do all the work. I have all the parts needed but have been held up by the sleeve. Any information or advice would be much appreciated.

I used Simmons Machine for a KX125 I have. I won't go back! Charley(owner) is a killer machinist in his day. The clowns he has now.....
They bored, sleeved and fit the piston but didn't mill the top of the cylinder. As pissed off I was,I didn't return it. I chucked it in a friend's lathe and trued it myself.
L.A Sleeve can supply the sleeve and machine the cylinder. If I remember correctly labor ran around $165.
Or send it to Millennium and have it re-plated. That my choice next time.
