It would take me forever to discribe this but look at this thread i have going. best thing i have done yet. get one of your mod's to run it. you can update it simply by pushing edit buttons. Yes it does work better than a calender and no i dont know why.

I've thought about that a little, a centralized thread listing all upcoming events. So far we've dealt with this by prominently displaying the relevant threads and adding the events to the calendar.

You're welcome to start a mirror thread here, if you'd like. You don't have to be a mod to, either. If people express positive interest, we'll make it a permanent fixture.
