All other racing is tough to get into, you have to work you're way up to prove your skill. By what this guy was saying Dana didn't have the skill and shouldn't have been out there.

Several of the drivers have spoke out about this before, and they get shunned to shut there mouths, or they get told that it's just envy because she's a woman. Marketing is powerful. She is what there sport needs to get attention so there she is. That's why I like NASCAR, motocross and motorcycle racing. You will never see someone there who hasn’t worked to get there. You can't fake these skills. I like drag racing to but I know that yea who usually has the most money usually ends up on top. Drag racing has a very simple equation. Lots of Money = HP
God damnit..... ok i need to clear some shit up here. Dragracing isnt a money thing yes hp is a big thing but there is a shitload of skill in this. do this go outside run your bike up to 7k and release the clutch in first.... there are all kinds of issues, tire breaking tracktion the dreaded 12 oclock wheelie and lord forbid the wreck! and i havent even went 60 ft yet....! then you have misshifts and poor rebound set ups. I so fucking sick of hearing this it doesnt take skill shit. thats like saying makeing blankets isnt hard because you can buy them at walmart. well no shit but makeing them is a pain in the ass! But hey whatever. playing on a dragstrip and running 8s yea thats easy but thats not dragracing either. please refrain from knocking a sport in witch you dont understand. hop into my shoes for a night... hell i jumped into yours.

Randy, it's you that doesn't have the first clue in the world to how much skills are required when it comes to anything concerning motorcycles. While there are SOME skills required to drag, it's not even close to what you would have to have for being in professional motorycle road racing, F1, or IRL. You never have gotten it and you never will, so save your energy and back away from the keyboard.

I've been to a lot of drag races in my day Randy. It's my opinion that on the amateur level, if you have more money to throw at your bike than your competitor, then that equals to hp which usually equals to getting you down the track faster. I've seen it time and time again. Yes, there is a little skill involved in drag racing, but it's nothing that any woman couldn't learn. Hence forth, that's why you see so many women in drag racing. How many women to you see in NASCAR, or top level road racing? Remember, this is just my opinion, nothing more. So make your case for drag racing, I want to here it. One more example, last Summer when you guy's went to the strip, Larry beat everyone one his gixxer 1000 to become King of the strip, right. This could NEVER ever happen on a road racing course. So how did all those seasoned drag racing people get beat by an amateur?

they are also bomb and tornado proof, among other things.

but, back on topic....if you've ever watched pro's vs. joes, you will know that these guys are on a different level completely. (granted some of the pros that are on there are has beens or old) That just goes to prove that even on they're worst day, they are better that we are on a good day. there is a reason that you have to work your way up to the top in most sports....experience. you can't buy experience. i'm not saying that paul dana wasn't a good driver, (like i said earlier, on his worst day, he could run laps around me) but he might not have been experienced enough to compete at that level.
