Consider running recaptcha for verification, and approving all new members. My sportriders site up north runs pretty clean running VB, and we never get any bots.

My Vette Racing forum site was having an issue with bots even with the "recaptcha" stuff. What I did was added a thing where the new registrant had to answer a question correctly. The answer to that question should be obvious to anybody legitimately joining the site. The question is: "What is America's Sports car?" All spam stopped after that.
Maybe set that up here with a questions such as "What is the name of one of the four major Japanese Motorcycle manufacturers?" If somebody legitimately can't answer that, then something is not right.

hey now I raced my moms pinto wagon when I was learning to drive at 13, at 17 I jumped it and cracked the oil pan on the landing. Caught about 3 to 4 ft of air at 65 it did not like that. That was its first oil change in like 8 years I am not joking either.

Yes, it's plastered on my wall in the workshop....
So yes in deed, it did watch me for a lonnnnnnnnngggggggg time.
(maybe a little longer than it took the duct tape on the pvc pipe to dry rot)

So yeah, I got rid of CAPTCHA since it was routinely getting bypassed, and added some questions for human verification instead :wtg:
