That's awesome. I've seen that stuff before. I had no idea it took so long to print the parts though.

Wow those completely assembled parts were something I had not seen before.

I know they use a similar system in the medical field to print prosthetic ears, noses, and small parts.

I work with two different CNCs I thought my shit was advanced. I've never seen fully assembled moving parts. if only it worked with ice.

actually, there was a 3D printer some college made that worked only with ice.
it somehow cooled water at specific points where two lasers met.
by moving the lasers points, it could "print" out simple 3d models, one layer at a time.
neat stuff.

I also remember a few years ago about 2 college guys turning old HP Deskjet printers into a printer that made skin graphs and other things.
