Went down to jennings on saturday night to jump in a few races just to keep myself in race mode. First thing I learned about this trip was not having a pit crew sucks! but the cool thing was there was no pressure what so ever. Woke up sunday morning and went to post enter, Now usually thats not such a bad thing, U just try and be the first one up in the morning, well I was the only one up that morning. Cause I was placed last on the grid of every race. Race one, GTO there were 27 guys in front of me and I had 9 laps to pass as many as I could I got 22 of them. Race 2, was alot of the same ended up 5th. Race 3, not so good went off the ytrack twice really wanted a top three, went off in turn one lap 3 in 5th, and again in 13. still it was a fun weekend. I did miss all the chuck town crew......But atleast someone was REp'n the Chuck :wtg:
You're getting lots of experience, Jason.
Good going man, now how can you get yourself gridded first, or at least not last?
sounds like you were getting tiered... glad to hear your ok though. you going back on the 23rd?

Yeah I'll be there on the 23rd I'm also going back this weekend. :evillaugh: as far as getting up front on the grid you have to pay months in advance
did you call and preregister? {for the race} i mean does that help?

I could have sent Henry the money but it still wouldn't have mattered, CCS isn't really what I'm focusing on this year. I'm just trying to race as much as I can
as far as getting up front on the grid you have to pay months in advance
That's lame because it largely favors the well-off over those that are skilled (they may be one and the same, but that's not how the system is designed)

That is one of the reasons I switched to WERA this year, they go by points and I got all top tens my first time out, my next WERA race I'll be close to the front :evillaugh:

You can't call to preregister for a race. You have to send your money / application to the Florida race director who is Henry Degow.
