Just a little heads up for any of the Columbia people that ride out near Gaston and the sand pits. I live in Gaston and have been riding out here for close to 10 years and have always had a blast. Lexington County is cracking down really bad out here. I have been pulled twice by a white F-150 with lights on the top of it. The guy really knows the area too because he found me after losing him on trails I know very well. He was cool the first time but the second time he told me if I was caught again I would lose my bike and I could be fined up to $5000. This morning I heard from a neighbor that they got three four wheelers and two dirtbikes this weekend. They take your stuff and give you a fine and you don't see your stuff again. I did hear a helicopter so they are prepared to inforce these rules. I would stay off the Powerlines, railroad tracks and all the trails that lead to the sand pits between Gaston and Edmond. Palmetto Motorsports Complex is really close and $15 bucks is alot better than 5k and losing your ride.

I talked to a Lexington County officer today to verify this. From what he said, someone really messed up a sifter at the sand plant. They had to spend tons of money to get it fixed and now they are down to one. They own most of this land and would tolerate us until this. There is someone to thank for all of this so if you know them please tell them thanks and smack them for me. =D>

This really sucks because theres nothing like riding out there. I guess I will see you at Palmetto Motorsports Complex from now on. Sorry to bring the bad news but I don't want anyone getting caught up in this. Be safe riding and watch out!!!!
