If anyone is interested we are in need of some help. We need up to 4 pitcrew members to help with all those dirty lil jobs like puting bikes on stands and carrying stuff out to the starting grid. This is a good opertunity to get close to some real AMA racing action. I did it last year and had a great time I got to see all of those great racers we all try to be just like, it was awsome............I know this is realy short notice but if your down give us a call at the shop 843-856-8656....we need to here from you as soon as possible so we can get your pit passes... :wtg:

Not no...but hell no.....that job sucks! :evillaugh:ah, come on now. it isn't that bad, it's just little old me. i don't require the attention that your riders will need. it would be a lax atmosphere to say the least. plus i have cool pit vehicles...

Little over .200 sec off the factory bikes is pretty impressive.

I talked to Kenny. He was 5 seconds short of the qualifying time... on a mostly stock R1, in the rain, so yeah, he'll be in once he gets his suspension massaged.

Don't forget that's the first time that he ever rode that bike on a track.

When I looked yesterday he was last at one point in practice. I hope that he is able to make the race and do better. Right now the track is wet but in a few hours a race should be taking place.

I would think being at a track you have never been on and it being a AMA event with would be a bit crazy. I would have a few buckets of butterflies inside me.

I feel like I should apologize to the Charleston crowd, I didn't qualify. I learned a valuable lesson though, "IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT!!" I should have never changed suspension people. I took a chance and tried someone different than Thermosman. I was going to give GMD a try with Rick Croly. He said the suspension was going to be ready on Thursday so that I could install it and try to shake the bike down. Well when I saw him Thursday morning and he said it didn't show up, but he could have it overnighted to the track for Friday. Needless to say that's not good. He told me that he had the shock in hand on tuesday and internals for the forks would be in at the track. He lied. FUCK GMD AND RICK CROLY. So I went to THermosman at the ohlins trailer gave him my shit and went and had some beers. SO no seat time at all Thursday. MIke gets me my forks back friday morning at 8am, but it's pouring rain and practice is at 8:30. so i roll out on a bike that i've never riden and it's pouring rain and i'm on stock suspension. not a good feeling. best i could do was a 1.37. come back to put the suspension on after practice and i go over to mike. he is busy with eric bostrom and his fx equipment, so obviously no time for me, understandable. so i go out with the suspension on. have you ever been in a situation where everything is going wrong and you feel helpless like you are in a dream, that's how i felt as i see my times stay the same as they were on the stock suspension and in the rain. i try to make due with what i had and could only fall 1 second short of qualifying. needless to say i'm pretty bummed and i'm trying to take it all in and learn from the situation. i know i could have easily turned a 1.29-30 without question. I guess i could only blame myself, for not sticking with the original plan. should of stayed with thermosman from the beginning. what rick did was bullshit and not proffessional at all. i don't recommend him or GMD to anyone, they cost me a lot of money this weekend and embarrassed the shit out of me. i won't point fingers too much, but i can't help but feel that me falling short this weekend was LARGELY in part to him/them. Well this weekend I'll be at Jenninigs to tune the bike and maybe race there the next weekend. All in all, lesson learned.

Don't beat yourself up over it Kenny. This is not the first time I have heard of the GMD guys not delivering. At least you went out there and a :37 on stock suspension in the rain is impressive as hell!!

You have nothing to apologize for. You did your best with what you had and that is all anyone can expect.

Thank you for representing Charleston!!!

Ditto: Stock bike, stock supension, never rode new bike on track, last time raced or practiced on the track maybe 2 years ago? You did great against guys who practice week in a week out with top shelf motor work, and top shelf suspension. Can you guess who is getting my order terminated first thing tomorrow. I called this guy 3 times to badger him about getting a shock out to me for the past 2 weeks.

KWS John Haner did come in 8th in the first Superbike race. He almost made it in at 7th but got passed at the last second. He was unable to do the second superbike race for a reason I have yet to learn.

Hear! Hear! With the rain, the unpracticed track, the rain, and the stock bike, it took balls to get on the track in the first place.

First of all congrads to the entire KWS team. You guy's really must be on cloud 9 right now. John rode and awsome race from what I read. I just love what he said. "It’s not the million dollar bikes, it’s the people on them that I want to beat." To see local boys competing with the top factory, million dollar budget bikes just makes all of us road racing fans happy. Hip hip horray to the the all of the staff over at KWS!

Why are you trying to hurt my feelings? :crying: First we take a lose and then you slap us? When Mat steps up on the podium and wins the title again at the end of the season, I'm going to be there to pimp slap Mr Hodgeson. After that I'm going to go over and kick that crappy duck to the ground and then jump on top of it chanting Mladin, Mladin, Mladin!

From what I heard is after one of the races Mat walked over to Hodgeson area and was pointing in finger at him and yelling. All this while Neil was sitting down. I guess Mat said the wrong thing, Hodgeson got up and slapped his ass.

Mat did the right thing. He was day dreaming, riding around looking at the clouds and should have gotten off the track. He is susposed to be Mr World superbike and he should know this. Mat got his A$$ straight and told him, in America this is how it works over here PAL!

WOW!! Those look good. I think Tony Brown is one of the new guys taking photo of our riders this year. I am not 100% sure on that. I know Vicki and Brian take tons of our guys.

Thanks for putting those up. :wtg:
