Stoner qualified with a 1.32.256 and Spies is already running 1.32.942. Crazy.

Damn I wish the season was starting again soon.

And he doesn't have Burgess! Time to jump on the Spies bandwagon....you know it's coming!

Just hope he doesn't get sidelined with injuries or mechanical failures.

Well, now that DeAngelis is off the grid the chances of someone getting Hayden'd has been at least halved so crashes/injuries should be back to sub/normal levels.

I buying a ticket for the ride.
I'm just on the American bandwagon. I'll be happy as long as there is any American on the podium. Would love to see Colin have a top three year.

Agree 100%, Greg! I'm just wanting Spies to make it interesting and challenge Rossi, which I think he will do.

Could not agree more.

Just wonder if he is going to overshadow Colin. Kind of like Chaz did Ben at KWS. Seems like it would be awkward midway through the year for teammates. Younger, new guy comes in and does better than the older teammate who was there previously. It would be a good problem for the frogs at Tech 3 to have.

Either way as long as Nicky, Colin, or Ben gets to hear the national anthem at the end of the day....next year will rock.:hail::trophy:

I think Colin fully understands the idea and he was one of the factors in getting Ben there so quickly. Edwards has an amazing relationship with Yamaha and he wants them to be successful. Don't expect him to lay down though, cause this will also be MAJOR motivation for him to finally get his first victory in the GP and I think that was also part of his plan, Toseland wasn't pushing him:alright:

He has been pretty fast, 5 a number of times behind the normal leaders. One problem is he is not on the A team and that makes a difference. He was smart to get spies in there- I think he will likely improve too. Spies is so smart- incremental improvement is his game- what was it, fastest lap on the last lap- the guy is scary.

you are all to correct. i personally never liked the guy, riding abilities aside, just don't care for the guy. but a lot of people will be on that bandwagon.
