too bad they will NEVER sell a bike like that here... you'd need a motorcycle license, and that throws out the moped crowd that its perfect for.

not sure what you mean...? are you taking over randys engrish duties of asking oddly phrased questions that have no clear concept of what they're asking?

they mean the CB1000, not the CBR.

I mean by not bringing them to the USA when it would obviously sell, kinda like selling CBR1000's for $7k. HEADS IN ASS.

they wont sell here in volumes that would be profitable.
their market would be people with moped/no motorcycle license.. and you would need a regular motorcycle license for this bike.
for a real world example, ask champion about their ruckus sales before and after enforcement.....
on top of that, everyone in the north american motorcycling sales world "knows" that only "toy" models sell well.. commuter models always have limited success here.

If I was a Honad dealer, I would sell at least 40-45 of those in 7-9 months myself. Honestly, probaly more. They would sell almost as many of those here as they would in Europe and Europe is more known for their scooter sales.

Can't compare that to the ruckus and asking Champion would be the wrong route, try Columbia Honda, then talk to me.

Licensing issues wouldn't stop the sales. With a $900 price tag, no one would care, they would be CASH sales, therefor people would ride them illegally and registration would not be an issue for the customer. AND GET AWAY WITH IT.

I wouldn't say all that, it's just what happens when you sell one and tell them to register it. "OH, I am just gonna ride it in my neighborhood":contract:
